Having some performance issues in the game... any advice is greatly appreciated.

So, in the past with other devices I have noticed that sometimes the speed of my character's combo hits varies. I would say from update to update, but I feel like sometimes it's in between updates. In any event, I recently switched from a pixel 3XL to a 4XL. First thing I noticed was accidental heavies markedly increased. Next I noticed that my combo hits are markedly slower. So much so that it completely throws of the rhythm of the fight. The ironic part is that the menu performance and graphics are greatly improved. The combat performance has taken a dive though. While I noticed a change in the speed of my character's attacks after switching devices, I've also noticed it before from time to time when using the same device I'd used for months. Any help or suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.

I've gotten some feedback from alliance mates on this. Some of them say they noticed something similar after the last update and that it may not completely be related to my device. Basically, what I'm trying to describe is that my characters now take longer to execute a MLLLM combo for instance. For example using random values, if I used to tap the screen for... let's say 1.5 seconds to execute 3 lights in a MLLLM combo, I now have to tap the screen for 2.25 seconds for my character to execute the same 3 lights. It's really throwing me off. Almost making the game unplayable. Which is a problem cause I love this game:) If this is happening to anyone else at all or you have any advice regarding this (in case it's device related) please let me know. Thanks!
