How do Dungeons work

I keep getting matched with horrible partners. I can deal with the fact that they don’t contribute much but I hate it when they just stop playing halfway through. Even if I finish the room I can’t move to the next one or conclude the current one . So I am wondering when I got stuck with someone like this again is there a way for me to conclude the dungeon and get my points without having to wait for them to act again? So far the only thing that works seem to be waiting for the time to ran out bu this is a huge pain in the ass
