That was a side quest. The Variant quests are previous EQs.

Thinking about it i wonder how many back issues are "possible". When i remember correctly, the first EQ was the Ultron one (which had no different difficultys), so it was the first back issue with variant difficulty.

How many EQs were released before they started to make the three, four and then five difficulties (beginner, normal, heroic, master, uncollected)?

Does anyone remember?

I think the sixth one Contamination was the first one with the different difficulties, but i am not sure.

Would be interesting if they just keep going with those Variants...
