Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. Monica is a trained S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent and thus has demonstrated talent in both martial arts and marksmanship. She has also shown that she is a capable leader and strategist as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Monica is also a trained spy, with skills in stealth, interrogation, and pattern recognition.[citation needed]

Physical Strength
Monica normally possesses the strength of a normal woman. However, while wearing her Stark Suit, her strength is enhanced to some degree.[citation needed]

Weaknesses
Monica is a normal woman and can be killed as easily as an ordinary human.[citation needed]

Paraphernalia
Equipment
During the mission to track down the Red Skull, Monica wore a Stark Suit that enhanced her strength, speed, and agility. She could reportedly move at speeds up to around 110 mph while in the suit. The suit was also equipped with goggles that allowed her to view targets from great distances.[13]

Weapons

Destiny Force: On rare occasions, and through unusual circumstances, Jones has been able to tap into a mysterious, near-limitless energy source known as the Destiny Force. The Destiny Force is believed to be inherent in all humanity. Jones has used this power to alter reality in the past by bringing figures from his own imagination to life or even figures from different times of existence. He has proven able to render thousands of Kree and Skrull warriors immobile with a thought, single-handedly overcome the Atlantean army, augment all of his own physical attributes, heal himself after sustaining life threatening energies, and levitate. The full limits of the Destiny Force, its overall nature, and why Jones has been able to harness it at only certain times, all these are currently unknown.[citation needed]

Enhanced Learning Capabilities: As a consequence of being depowered from his A-Bomb form, Rick's brain was changed. According to himself, he was now able to pick new skills up lightning-fast.[54]

Gamma Mutation: After being free from the Gamma-Activated Tissue, Rick developed some new powers:

Energy Projection: Rick is able to release gamma energy at will. The full extent of the ability and how much control of it he has are unrevealed. He is able to release energy from his hands intense enough to melt through a thick, steel door.[83]
Flight: Rick is able to fly through the air through unknown means.[84]
Gamma Tracking: Rick is able to track gamma mutates through some sort of extrasensory power.[85]
Hulk:
Physical Transformation: After been knocked into a nutrient bath being used to merge the then-separated Bruce Banner and the Hulk,[86] Rick Jones would transform into a gamma-powered monster at nightfall, just as Banner’s transformations had originally occurred.[3] The full parameters of his powers were never established, and he no longer has access to them after the Leader had the gamma radiation drained from Jones in order to reignite his own lost powers.[87]

Physical Transformation: After being exposed to a weapon powered by gamma radiation designed for use against the Hulk, Jones was mutated by the radiation. As a result, Jones can transform into a superhuman form that resembles the Abomination. Jones has demonstrated the ability to transform at will and, when doing so, gains an additional 4 feet 3 inches in height and 1,835 pounds of muscle, bone and connective tissue to his frame. Jones' skin takes on a scaly sort of appearance, his eyes change color and his hair disappears. As of being cured of radiation by Doc Green, he is no longer able to do this.[53]
Superhuman Strength: While transformed into A-Bomb, Jones' musculature, connective tissues and skeletal structure are augmented to levels far beyond those of ordinary humans. As a result, his strength is augmented to great superhuman levels. At his peak, he possesses sufficient superhuman strength to be listed at exactly class 100.[citation needed]

Suspended Aging: For all intents and purposes A-Bomb does not age. Due to his great healing factor that regenerates his cells, and with the gamma energy and Destiny Force that empowers him, A-Bomb does not age at all.[citation needed]
Superhuman Stamina: Jones' musculature as A-Bomb is more efficient than that of an ordinary human. As a result, his muscles produce less fatigue toxins during physical activity than those of normal humans. Though the exact limit of his stamina isn't known, he can at least exert himself for several hours without fatigue impairing his overall capabilities.[citation needed]
Superhuman Durability: As A-Bomb, Jones' superhuman body is much tougher and more resistant to injury than that of an ordinary human. Since Jones' ability to transform into his superhuman form is a recent development, the full limits of his resistance to injury isn't known. However, his hide is exceptionally tough and can withstand repeated blows by a foe as physically powerful as the Red Hulk without sustaining injury. His body can also withstand falls from great heights and exposure to temperature extremes without being damaged. He has also demonstrated that his hide is bulletproof as Red Hulk tried to use a mini-gun from on him but it merely tickles A-Bomb.[citation needed]
Self Sustenance: A-Bomb does not need air, water, food, or sleep to survive.[citation needed]
Camouflage: He also has a camouflage ability, being able to turn nearly invisible to match his environment.[citation needed]
Subject B / Abomination:

Transformation: After having the Abomination's tissue grafted to his corpse, Jones was resurrected into a new, transformed state.[88] He lost these powers when the Abomination tissue grafted to him was removed by Hulk.[69]
Superhuman Strength: He possesses an unknown level of super strength, but it's enough to for him crush a taxi and match the strength of the Hulk.[6]
Superhuman Durability: He also appears to have a high level of durability as he was able to withstand a punch from Hulk and not appear to have any injuries.[6]
Regeneration: According to one of his operators, Rick is able to recover from grievous injuries, even lost organs.[69]
Claws: Rick has a claw on each one of his fingers sharp enough to scratch even the Hulk.[6]
Acidic-Poison Generation: Jones could generate a highly caustic solvent that was potent enough to dissolve the flesh of the Hulk and negate his healing factor. He could both secrete this gastric substance from his hands and spit it out from his two mouths. Jones, however, is limited to how much toxic acid he could generate and needs to eat in order to create more. He also loses this ability temporarily if he loses his stomach until he recovers.[68]

Abilities
Jones is an accomplished gymnast and hand to hand combatant. Jones has a thorough knowledge of Judo and Karate and has even had some training from Captain America himself. He also has exceptional musical talent and has proven himself to be a skilled songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player.[citation needed]

Skilled Combatant: After received training by Captain America in several martial arts including combat gymnastics, he is a highly experienced hand-to-hand combatant.[89] As A-Bomb, he does not seem to remember any of it but is a natural fighter, making him a formidable opponent in combat.[citation needed]

Computer Skills: Through his altered brain chemistry, Rick learned how to be a skilled computer user.[54] With his skills, he is able to hack into the computers of high-level organizations like S.H.I.E.L.D.[55]

Physical Strength
Average strength; formerly class 100, although this is only a symbolic scale for comparisons between characters, and should not remotely be taken literally.

Weaknesses
* Because he and Del Frye share one body, their minds struggle to adjust to another and at times can't perform everyday tasks.[90] He overcame this issue when he and Del Frye were finally separated by Carl Creel.[91]
Impaired Intelligence: During his brief tenure as the Hulk, Rick also suffered from a decrease in intellect, similar to many of Banner’s incarnations as the monster.[3] As A-Bomb, Jones' intelligence was impaired and below that of an average human. As A-Bomb, he had little recall of his memories or his past. He loses all of his musical abilities and all but the most rudimentary form of combat skills. Jones was able to get control of his mind as A-Bomb, and retained all of his intelligence and possessed complete control as A-Bomb, but he was also trapped in his A-Bomb form. Rick eventually gained the ability to transform at will, retaining his mind in his A-Bomb form due to the Hulk's wish.[92] As Subject B, Rick had no control of his mind and could barely speak. He would also attack innocent people that cross his path.[6] After being freed from the Gamma-Activated Tissue, Rick regained control over his mind, but his level of intelligence has a tendency to vary from normal to limited.[83] After being merged and then separated from Del Frye he has apparently regained all of his intelligence.[91]

As Renascence, Sofia possessed several devices, which granted her various powers including:

Hydraulic Metallic Tentacles: Similar to Doctor Octopus and Lady Octopus, Renascence possessed back-mounted hydraulic metallic tentacles. Although she had six tentacles instead of four, and hers were detachable as opposed to being fused to her spine.[2]
Energy Blasts: These tentacles were also capable of discharging energy blasts.[2]
Force Field: Renascence's equipment enabled protective force fields.[3][2]
Guns: Renascence also carried guns with her. These guns' properties were never fully explained.[2]

Surge is a mutant. She was considered a General Threat by the O*N*E, at the time of the M-Day.[35] Nimrod classified her as a Threat Level: High,[36] and after defeating him, she was red-flagged and allegedly reclassified by the O*N*E.[37]

Electrical Absorption: She absorbs electricity at all times: from static in the air, electrical appliances, outlets, etc. (often causing lights to flicker, etc). She can't control the absorption and thus must wear specifically-designed gauntlets at all times to regulate it.

Lightning Blasts: She can discharge the energy through lightning blasts from her hands or other parts of her body. The upper limits of this power have yet to be determined, though these attacks remain considerably powerful when used effectively.
Superhuman Speed: She has the ability to channel the energy into bursts of super-speed. Her top speed has not been officially calculated, but she once ran from upper New York to the mountains of Colorado in one afternoon. Apparently, she can run at several hundred miles per hour and retain that speed for several hours.
Abilities
Surge is a native Japanese speaker who speaks English fluently, with little trace of an accent. She has an aptitude for leadership and has had some training from Wolverine in hand-to-hand combat.

Weaknesses
If Noriko doesn't discharge the electricity that builds in her body and mind, her mind starts to race, making her speak very fast in a jittery, electronic fashion. This worsens her control over her discharges and radically alters the electrical impulses in her nervous system.[citation needed]

Sand Form: Dust has the ability to convert herself into a destructive sand blast by simultaneously transforming the substance of her body into loose silicon particles and creating an explosive release at her center, expelling her sandy mass at high velocity in all directions, then causing her particles to reassemble themselves back into her human form. With apparent telepathic control, she can then move at high velocity resembling a sand storm. The sand storm effect is strong enough to destroy steel and rip the flesh from one's bones; this is helped by the microscopic edges of the sand particles acting as tiny blades. She can also enter people's lungs and scour them from the inside.

Telepathic Resistance: Dust is very hard to telepathically detect or influence while in her sand-like form, even for more powerful telepaths like Professor Xavier and Jean Grey.[6]
Enhanced Durability: Dust's skin, bone, and muscle are augmented to make it stronger and harder than human; impervious to injury to a certain extent.
Magical Resistance: Dust is very hard to magically detect or influence while in sand-like form.[34]

Multilingual: Dust speaks Arabic and English fluently.
She has shown to be a good hand-to-hand combatant.
Weaknesses
While in her granular form, Sooraya can be weakened by wind or water.[16] Her sand form is also vulnerable to extremes of heat, causing it to crystallize into glass, paralyzing her.[3] Like many transmorphs, she reverts to her human form if exhausted or knocked unconscious.[37]

Gaseous Aerokinesis: Cloud 9 is able to generate a cloud-like alien gas,[5][6][17] confirmed to be extraterrestrial in origin.[4][6] She is able to create multiple clouds of the gas and manipulate its shape and movement for a variety of effects. Such as:

Flight: By manipulating the gas, Cloud 9 can ride the gas to enable her to fly. She can also carry several passengers with her. The Cloud can travel faster than 600 mph keeping up with a commercial jet. She was capable of outmaneuvering two F-16 fighter jets (capable of 1,500 mph) without succumbing to the air friction of those speeds.[4]
Suffocation: By forcing this generated gas down the throat of an opponent, Cloud 9 is able to keep them from breathing. Her first demonstration of this was when she used the gas to cause asphyxia on Elloe Kaifi.[18]
Mist-Effect: By spreading the gas around, she can use the gas as a cover for her and her team.[4] She can also manipulate the gas into a construct to move and lift objects and people.
She was stated to be below Class 50 in the threat classification of the Initiative.[3]

Initiative Training: Abigail received combat training as part of the Initiative.

Sharpshooter: She especially excelled in the use of a sniper rifle. War Machine stated that she had the highest cadet score on the shooting range.[3] She can also snipe out of her own cloud-cover quite effectively.[2]
Emotional distance: It was stated that Abby had such emotional distance that she was protected from fear-based attacks.[5]

Enhanced Durability: Bullseye has had parts of adamantium fused to his skeleton like his spine, skull, and fist making his bones virtually indestructible.[43][44] He once withstood a fall from several stories and landed on a car with no injury.[45]

Daredevil Sense: For a brief time, Bullseye could psychically sense the presence of Daredevil.[44]
Abilities
Olympic Physical Conditioning: Lester is an Olympic-level athlete and weightlifter. He is in overall exceptional physical condition, with the agility, reflexes, stamina, and speed of a professional or Olympic athlete.[44]

Expert Acrobat: He is a skilled acrobat capable of performing many difficult feats and matching the feats of the finest human acrobats.[44]

Master Marksman: Lester's innate ability to throw any projectile with great unerring accuracy and deadliness borders on superhuman.[44] His uncanny ability to use virtually any common object as a lethal projectile actually makes him more dangerous than many characters who do have superhuman powers.[44] Although he is not technically superhuman, Bullseye can accomplish many feats with thrown projectiles that is at a degree of superhuman.[44] He has demonstrated the ability to lacerate a person's throat with a thrown playing card, spit his own tooth through a human skull, toss a paper airplane to a distant rooftop, and kill a person with a toothpick thrown through a window from a hundred yards away.[44] He is also a dangerous sharpshooter,[44] and his accuracy when wielding an object, the size and mass of a baseball is about 100 feet and even can hurl such objects at around 105 miles per hour.[44]

Master Assassin: He knows every pressure point and vulnerable spot on the human body and is able to turn virtually any object into a deadly weapon capable of incapacitating or killing an enemy.[44] Lester is a deadly assassin often hired by the likes of the Kingpin for covert assassinations.[44]

Master Martial Artist: Aside from his ability to throw projectiles with lethal accuracy, Bullseye is also proficient in many martial arts disciplines and is extremely talented in the use of edged weapons and conventional firearms.[44] Often, his outspoken attitude during combat about using his abilities seems to have become one of his favorite weapons - intimidation. As such, he believes that his attention in the media grants him more effectiveness in combat with a near flawless reputation, rather than an assassin who often uses fear of the unknown.[44]

Weapons Proficiency: As a result of his naturally perfect athletic gift for hand-eye coordination, Lester can quickly learn how to wield most weapons even if he's never seen them before. Aside from throwing projectiles, he has used the following items: knives, whips, shurikens, darts, sais, a saber, nunchukas, the specialized weapons of others such as a bat-shaped edged weapon, bows and Trick Arrows, and Daredevil's billy club.[44] He has also used projectile weapons such as assorted handguns (thrown or fired), a rocket launcher, a shotgun, sniper rifle, and a cartridge-gun that held various types of ammunition such as a pronged harpoon and a sonic-beam-generating cartridge.[44] Occasionally, he has used cable guns for swinging to safety.[44] He has also carried explosive devices such as grenades and plastic-explosive charges in the compartments of his gloves.[44] Common items he has turned into weapons include an apple, ashtray, bolts, books, bricks, CDs, change, a coffeepot, cross, flashlight, food trays, forks, garbage, glass shards, golf balls, hairbrushes, a hubcap, lamp, lid, menu, microphone/boom, paper airplanes, paper clips, pencils, pens, a pill, pipes, playing cards, a plastic baby, potted plant, purse strap, rope, rosary beads, rosin-filled bag, scalpel, shovel, straw, syringe, toothpick, ten pins, vases, and his own teeth.[44]

Gifted Intellect: Lester is intellectually gifted.[44]

Physical Strength
Bullseye possesses the strength of an Olympic-level class weightlifter, enabling him to lift (press) 300 pounds.[46]

Weaknesses
Insanity: Bullseye is a man with a considerably tenuous grasp on his sanity and has been described as a notorious psychopath, which makes him susceptible to psychopathic outbursts when rattled.[7] He also is prone to schizophrenic delusions as he once became so immersed in his Daredevil impersonation that he believed himself to truly be Daredevil, which the actual Daredevil used to defeat him.[47]
*Paralysis: After a brutal encounter with Daredevil,[37] Bullseye was left quadriplegic. In order to survive, he depended on an iron lung.[41]

Adamantium-laced Bones: Bullseye has had strips of adamantium fused to portions of his skeleton, including his spine.[44] For all intents and purposes, it is virtually indestructible.[44] Hence, Bullseye's adamantium-laced bones are virtually unbreakable.[44] The presence of adamantium does not interfere with his bone's normal functions.[43]

Weapons
Any object in Bullseye's hands is a potential weapon. However, he will often use guns and knives as well as a number of throwing weapons such as shuriken. Before Elektra's resurrection, he would often carry one of her sais and use it simply to spite Daredevil.[44]

Dragonfang (formerly): For a time, Lester took up the blade of the fallen Valkyrie; Brunnhilde.[48] Accommodating all that entails with already having skill in every form of weaponry imaginable, Dragonfang further magnified Bullseye's fighting skills to a godly level.[49]

While transformed, Connors' healing powers are developed to the point where he can fully regenerate missing limbs, just like many known reptile species.

Tail: While transformed, Connors has a long, reptilian-like tail that he can use to help balance himself or as an offensive weapon. He is capable of whipping his tail at speeds of at least 70 miles per hour. Considering his strength and physical toughness, he can generate enough force to shatter concrete. Like some geckos, The Lizard can detach his tail and grow a new one.

Fangs & Claws: While transformed, Connors' fingers and toes are each tipped with razor sharp claws that, combined with his natural strength, are able to cut most conventional materials including flesh, bone, wood, stone, and some types of metals. His mouth is also filled with rows of razor sharp teeth that he can use as offensive weapons in close combat situations.

Wall Crawling: As the Lizard, Connors has the same adhesive properties that a gecko has, which allows him to scale walls. This was demonstrated in his first appearance when fighting Spider-Man.

Psionics: As The Lizard, Connors can telepathically communicate and control all forms of reptilian life within a two-mile distance. After his transformation into the shed, Connors has the ability to activate the "lizard part" in a human brain, causing them to act on basic reptile instincts.

Gamma Mutate Physiology: Due to Bruce Banner being exposed to the Gamma Bomb's radiation, culminating in his transformation into a powerful monster,[56] the gamma radiation mutated the Hulk's body and fortified his cellular structure, adding over 800 lbs of bone marrow and muscle tissues to his body.[413] In addition, during times of stress the Incredible Hulk's adrenaline level escalates, causing a corresponding escalation of brute strength. Thus, the madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk gets.[414][415] The Incredible Hulk was for several times described as one of the physically most powerful beings in the entire Marvel Universe,[416][417][418] with the potential for limitless levels of strength and durability (which scales directly with his strength).[419] The Hulk, in the full exercise of his potential, was described as the most powerful regular humanoid,[420] and his maximum known strength level ranges beyond the limits of virtually any other known humanoid being.[415][4] The Hulk's vast physical might has even been described as powerful enough to ravage entire worlds.[421] Moreover, the Hulk was also stated to be an Omega Level Threat by both the Initiative[422] and Mister Fantastic,[423] and even "the Original Omega Level Threat" by Gyrich.[32] At one point, the Hulk was stated to be the strongest hero in the world.[404] Nick Fury's intel also classified him as Power Level 10+,[424] the highest level in their scale of measurement, and as the Merged Hulk he was described as part of the Omega-class entities by Doctor Octopus.[425]

Transformation: The process by which Banner usually transforms into the Hulk is presumably the result of the chemical catalyst, adrenaline (a.k.a. epinephrine). As in normal human beings, Banner's adrenal medulla secretes large amounts of adrenaline in time of fear, rage, or stress, which hormonally stimulates the heart rate, increases blood-sugar levels, and inhibits sensations of fatigue. Whereas the secretion heightens normal physical abilities in normal human beings, in Banner's case it triggers the complex chemical-extra-physical process that transforms him into the Hulk. The total time of transformation falls anywhere from twenty-five seconds to five minutes,[413] depending on the initial adrenaline surge, which will be determined by the original stimulus.[413] Soon after the transformation, the amount of adrenaline in the Hulk will return to more normal, reduced levels.[413] However, there have been instances in which Banner became the Hulk without any discernible increase in heart rate or adrenal levels, suggesting that the true trigger mechanism into the Hulk is far more psychological than physical. When the Hulk transforms back into Banner, the excess muscle mass and energy is lost, presumably to the same place he derives it. As the Hulk's transformation is mostly a stress reaction, it is virtually impossible to attack, wound or sedate him in his human form without the Hulk erupting almost instantaneously in self-defense.[313] As gamma mutates and their appearance/abilities are affected by their minds to become "metaphor people";[347] Banner's Hulk form, and to an extent his abilities, change depending on which Hulk/alter is in control. Joe Fixit is weaker but more intelligent and cunning while only coming out at night, the Green Scar is full of wrathful fury while being able to erupt with gamma energy, and the Devil Hulk is more attuned with the mystical nature of gamma allowing him to perform impossible feats like overloading Vibranium, being alive and able to move while dismembered, or smelling lies and seeing into people's souls.

Unlimited Strength: The Hulk possesses the capacity for essentially limitless physical strength. Hence his might grows exponentially towards infinity without never really reaching it.[100][426][105][115][309][427][428][429][430][431] In an interview, Jack Kirby revealed that since the conception of the character he intended the Hulk to have unlimited strength.[432] In actuality, while the highest hierarchical challenges mentally imposed by Banner to the Hulk may not reflect the real characters' power level, it was implied that the Hulk's ultimate potential truly has no limits.[47] Banner has sometimes cogitated about the Hulk's incalculable strength.[433] In effect, upon actually estimating the Hulk's raw potential, the mighty cosmic entity Beyonder stated outright that the Hulk's strength is intrinsically limitless. The Hulk's uttermost potential is indeed unlimited.[426] This statement has been endorsed by the cosmic entity Stranger upon probing Hulk's capacity.[115] The Hulk's boundless strength was further supported by the Mad Thinker's inability to calculate its limits,[309] several experts have effectively failed to measure the precise magnitude of the Hulk's brute power,[100][105][428][429] and Hulk's power has been consistently described as immeasurable.[419] The Hulk's reputation extends beyond Earth, with Skrulls proclaiming him as the strongest mortal on Earth,[434] the alien leader known as Kurrgo exclaiming that he is the strongest of the Earth's creatures,[435] the cosmic wanderer Silver Surfer recognizing him as the strongest mortal he ever confronted,[117] and the supreme Skyfather Odin reflecting that he is the strongest mortal Thor has ever faced.[436] However, each of the primary Hulk's personalities possess a base strength level. While functionally calm, the Gray Hulk persona is the weakest whereas the incarnation commonly referred to as the "Green Scar" is the physically strongest of all primary Hulk's incarnations. After being exposed to the energies from the exploding core of the ship that originally brought the Hulk to Sakaar, the Green Scar's base strength level was dramatically increased. The persona known as the Immortal or Devil Hulk is also substantially stronger than most incarnations and presumably rivals the Green Scar, being able to effortlessly outclass the combined might of an Avengers contingent consisting of powerful characters.[14] However, while in an enraged state, adrenaline surges through the Hulk's body, magnifying his extraordinary strength drastically beyond his standard levels. The Hulk's immeasurable raw strength is directly proportional to his level of rage, excitement, and also stress. The Hulk also grows stronger the more radiation[437][438][439][440] and dark magic[441][442] he catalyzes. Finally, as Amadeus Cho theorizes, Bruce Banner subconsciously restrains the Hulk's maximum potential because he quantifies and calculates the external variables so that the Hulk could never hurt someone. Cho corroborates this thesis with a logical analysis of all the Hulk's historical conflicts.[443] However, if the suppression of Banner's restrictions occurs, the Hulk can neutralize this limitation, such as when he becomes the Worldbreaker.[407] The Hulk has also performed impressive feats of strength in his career.

Superhuman Leaping: The Hulk is able to use his highly developed leg muscles to leap great distances. As the Hulk becomes enraged, his strength increases considerably, which means he can jump farther than usual. The Hulk has transposed about 1,000 miles with a single leap,[444] and in a single leap he jumped on top of the Mount Olympus from ground level.[37][445] On more than one occasion, the Hulk has nearly jumped into the Earth's orbit.[446][11] The Hulk even managed to reach Mars' orbit with a single bound.[447] The Hulk also shows incredible precision with his ability to aim his jumps and landings. He grabbed missiles on multiple occasions and landed on islands barely visible from the height that he fell from.[444] While calm, the Hulk's leap has been measured to reach 473 mph.[448]

Superhuman Speed: Regardless of his size, Hulk's superhumanly strong legs allow him to run at speeds that are well beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete. In fact, the Hulk's speed is so relatively high that, while tunneling underground from Subterranea to California, the Avengers feared that the Hulk could fracture the San Andreas fault line in a matter of few hours.[148] In an excellent display of increased velocity, the Hulk easily outperformed an aircraft while on land.[311] Hulk's astronomical speed extends to his jumps, what allowed him to pursue and reach a space missile.[11] The Hulk also possesses immense swimming speeds as well. He has been clocked to be swimming at 80 knots,[444] and has even matched Namor's underwater speed,[139] even while Namor was moving quickly enough to create a whirlpool,[120] much to the Atlantean king's surprise. Referring to the Hulk's formidable speed, Banner pondered that the Hulk is able to run at eye-blurring speeds and swim fast enough to build propulsion.The Hulk has been fast enough to several times capture or intercept mortar shells and missiles shot at him.[485]The Hulk has also eventually been recognized to be extremely agile proportionally to his size. In fact, his spectacular reflexes have even been described as "lightning-fast reflexes". More examples of the Hulk's prodigious combat speed include easily catching the Captain America's shield throw, catching an arrow fired by Hawkeye, hit Quicksilver while he was running at high speeds pursuing and touching the Silver Surfer while the Surfer was maneuvering at supersonic speeds,while holding back tremendously against physically inferior opponents, he's hit both the Daredevil despite his heightened senses and extraordinary reaction time[544] and Spider-Man despite Peter's remarkable reflexes,easily dodge bullets and missiles shot from a short distance away,effortlessly capture a bullet in his teeth in mid-transformation,[550] and also regularly match beings with virtually unparalleled combat speed such as Gladiator, Sentry, and the Silver Surfer.The Hulk has also hit several speedsters, who were operating in an accelerated time flow, before they could even react.
Reactive Adaptation: There were several events in the past where the Hulk not only faced extended periods of time in oxygen-deprived outer space without suffocating, but he also frequently spoke in these inhospitable habitats. It was theorized by an LMD of Nick Fury that the Hulk could adapt to the environment of space as an inherent property of his mutation. He based this thesis on accumulated data about the Hulk.[552] For example, Hulk can harmonize his biological structure with the depths of the ocean.[553] Fury's hypothesis has been confirmed, since it was stated that the Hulk can adapt to any environment, even airless space.[554] Therefore this evidences that the Hulk could adapt to a wide diversity of hostile habitats. It is plausible that this ability is enhanced and amplified by the Hulk's rage. Accordingly, it has also been stated that the Hulk does not always need to breathe.[313]

Underwater Breathing: The Hulk has been on the ocean floor a number of times. The Hulk is able to breathe due to his body developing a gland which creates an oxygenated perfluorocarbon emulsion which fills his lungs and equalizes the pressure.[157][168] He is therefore able to breathe fluid and avoid decompression and nitrogen narcosis.

Telepathic Resistance: In many instances the Hulk has demonstrated great psychic resistance as a side-effect of his innate rage and the multiple personalities inside his mind.[555][115][556][557][558][405] When in ideal conditions it is extremely difficult to enslave the Hulk mentally. In parallel, this ability increases with his rage. This was demonstrated when Psyklop managed to enthrall the Hulk initially with his hypnotizing power, but was not able to subjugate an enraged Hulk.[555] In an example of his mental prowess, the Hulk was even able to survive using the Ultimate Machine, which contained the collective knowledge of an entire universe. While the Leader died, despite his heightened intellect, due to being unable to process the entirety of the information and having his brain overloaded, the Hulk was able to survive using it and find out that Rick Jones was in danger, after which he removed the device and leapt away.[559] In an astounding exhibition of his telepathic immunity, the Hulk proved to be unaffected by the Xemnu's telepathic assault,[395] which has been powerful enough to mesmerize the entire human population,[560] put a mental block on Doctor Strange to prevent him from using his powers,[556] or even engage the enormously powerful Moondragon in battle.[561] The Hulk was also the only one able to remember the Sentry after Sentry had used his psionic powers to remove his memories from everyone on the planet. When highly powerful psychics, such as Professor X, could only utilize his psionic powers to find out that their memories had been radically altered and twisted.[562] The Hulk has withstood telepathic attacks from the powerful Stranger,[115] the Shaper of Worlds,[178] Professor X,[405] Selene,[563] Doctor Strange,[264] the Leader,[142] Mentallo,[564] the Ringmaster,[565] etc.

Extrasensory Perception:
Astral Form Perception: The Hulk has the unique ability of being able to see "astral forms," or ghosts,[566] and even physically interact with them.[567] This power has come in handy when working with his fellow Defender, Doctor Strange, who is able to leave his body in an usually invisible, ghost-like state better known as an astral form. Bruce Banner subconsciously feared his father's ghost would come back to haunt him, and so the Hulk developed this mechanism to allow him to look out for him. More recent events have shown that the power to see astral forms may now extend to Bruce Banner. However, it was suggested the clarity of the astral forms is diminished when compared to the Hulk's ability to view them. The Hulk's ability to see astral forms may go beyond just seeing individual spirits. The Hulk once experienced a whole town in the middle of the desert that then faded away into nothing. While it is possible it was merely a mirage, it is possible the Hulk was able to see a town that did not exist in our plane of reality that no one else could see.

Homing Ability: The Hulk also has a seemingly mystical homing ability that enables him to locate the area in New Mexico where Banner first became the Hulk.[191] This applies even if the Hulk is in another dimension. An image of the Maestro once explained to Bruce that the reason he was able to do that was because the Maestro's spirit was there, calling to him.[527] However, since the time Maestro was resurrected, the Hulk has continued to return to the gamma bomb site, suggesting that there is more to his ability than merely the Maestro's spirit. This homing ability has also been used to find people on rare occasions. For example, the Hulk was able to dig a tunnel underground exactly in the direction of Onslaught.[568] While it is possible that Onslaught was mentally leading the Hulk to him, there were other instances of the Hulk demonstrating this ability. The Hulk's instincts led him to Rick Jones[569] and Betty,[570] and the Hulk located the Abomination with no prior knowledge of his whereabouts.[518] The Hulk was also able to know that the Vision was approaching while inside an underground tunnel, even though he could neither hear nor see the intangible Avenger's approach.[148]

Gamma Radiation/Energy Manipulation and Emission: Not usually a power associated with the Hulk, but there is enough evidence that Hulk possesses at least a limited ability to manipulate forms of energy, particularly gamma radiation. The Hulk's body works like a "gamma battery" by constantly creating and radiating gamma energy.[122] The Troyjan emperor Armageddon once wanted to employ the Hulk's own gamma radiation to power machines to revive his dead son again. However, the Hulk outsmarted him by consciously force feeding his energy into these machines at a rate too fast for them to handle, and they promptly overloaded and exploded.[571] The Hulk also generated massive amounts of gamma radiation during World War Hulk,[267] and produced considerable quantity while in the Dark Dimension.[407] The Hulk has also shown the ability to redirect gamma rays unleashed towards him. When the Avengers used the Gammatron Bombarder device on him, the Hulk deflected the blast at the device and destroyed it.[148] During the battle against the Galaxy Master, Hulk resisted and reflected the enemy's "gamma bombardment" attacks, and further demonstrated a beam-shaped projection of gamma energy by using the accumulated gamma energy within himself against the entity.[512] The Hulk is also able to absorb gamma energy. As Bruce Banner, he absorbed the tremendous amount of energy stored aboard the Intelligencia's Helicarrier.[286] As the Hulk, he has demonstrated the ability to absorb gamma radiation as he drained the second Red Hulk,[335] Sasquatch[343] and Rebecca Green[572] of their gamma energy. The Hulk even managed to absorb the gamma radiation of several nuclear bombs, which made him grow to a huge size, to the point where he became much larger than Fin Fang Foom.[573] The exact extent to which the Hulk controls his own gamma radiation, and also extrinsic sources of gamma radiation, has yet to be established.

Optic Blast: After the malevolent personality known as Titan took control of the Hulk persona was about to fight The Abominations, the personality increased the Hulk's rage to a level that he gave out huge amounts of energy from his eyes.[574]

**Retroactive Immortality: For all intents and purposes the Hulk cannot permanently die. The exact nature of this ability is unknown; however, it is suggested that, every time the Hulk or Banner is killed since the day that Bruce was hit with the Gamma Bomb, the Green Door is opened and allows him to "walk through" in order to successfully enable self-resurrection. It is suggested that it is his other self who walks through, as Banner would rather be at peace than be revived as the Hulk. It was initially theorized that damaging the hypothalamus, an area in the forebrain which controls the nervous system as well as emotions, can effectively kill the Hulk, but subsequent resurrections have proven it impossible to prevent a gamma mutate's revival even with their brain destroyed.[67][14][338] Following his resurrection by the Challenger,[333] if Banner should die, he would self-resurrect by transforming into the Hulk at nightfall.[13] This power was apparently lost after the Leader was separated from the One Below All which effectively shut down the Green Door.[51]

Assassins Instinct: Nick Fury can attest to the usage of this eerie mind control in person. In the 90s, he conducted scientific experiments on the captured assassin and found strange morphology in her brain that explained her phenomenal reflexes, yet sane rationale. Elektra moves with heightened primal instincts but the more evolved parts of her brain remain intact, preserving her intelligence. In other words, she thinks like a woman and strikes like a cobra.[73]

Mind Switch: Elektra's strangest gift is her ability to "throw" her mind into those of others. For instance, she was able to track down her enemy, Ken Wind, by temporarily "borrowing" people's minds and acting through them while she hunted around for her prey.[45]
Discern Target: This temporary mind control enables her to literally sniff out the psyche, or intent, of her targets. It saw extensive use during Elektra: Assassin, in which she was heavily reliant on only her ninja powers. It is unknown how long the effect lasts, but Elektra has gone a full two days or more in another person's mind while they zoned out in hers.[72]
Discern Location: This "mind jump" ability might explain why Elektra is always a step ahead of her competition or seems to know where her target is at all times. An extreme example would be the time she murdered an ambassador in South America. The man was sitting against the wall when Elektra sought out his mind and trusted her katana to enter his heart in the perfect spot. Unerringly, it did: the sword pierced through thick walling and the politician was slain where he sat. The unusual addition of her telepathic skills make Elektra an accomplished assassin to say the least.[72]

Hypnosis: Elektra has demonstrated the ability to mesmerize others, and as such make them see illusions or other phenomena.[74]
Heightened Awareness: Demonstrated the ability to detect a threat to her well-being in the immediate vicinity before they commit the action.

Master Martial Artist: Elektra is proficient in many martial arts originating from China, Thailand, and Japan. While many of them are unstated, Ninjutsu is the most noticeable one. She won trophies in aikido, kendo, and karate.[21]

Master Assassin: Elektra has mastered many techniques as an assassin. She was trained in the art of killing by Stick, Members of the Chaste, and The Hand.

Enhanced Reflexes: Elektra has been shown capable of preventing Black Widow from shooting her at a close range. She did this by literally slicing through the bullet with her sai.[75]

Peak Human Physical Conditioning: Elektra is an Olympic-level athlete and gymnast. She had won the competition in both swimming and track from an early age.[21]

It also allows Beast to attack opponents before they can react and pull their trigger fingers and keep up with opponents who can move at low-level superhuman speeds.[151]

Superhuman Stamina: Beast's highly advanced musculature produces fewer fatigue toxins during physical activity than that of an ordinary human. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before the buildup of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.[151] He also commented that after his mutation into a cat-like form that he no longer needs a full night of sleep, although it is unknown if he still retains this side effect of his stamina after becoming a new ape-like form once again.

Superhuman Durability: Beast's bodily tissues are harder and more resistant to certain types of injuries than the bodies of normal humans. His physiology can withstand great impact forces, though he can be injured by many types of conventional weapons such as standard firearms and bladed weapons. However, he can withstand physical impacts, such as falling from several stories by landing on his feet without suffering any broken bones or sprains. Also, he is able to be physically struck by many superhumanly strong beings like Colossus and The Hulk that would either severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no discomfort.[151]

Superhuman Agility: Beast's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. While in his simian form, he has the agility of a great ape combined with the acrobatic prowess of an Olympic level gymnast. He can walk a tightrope or a slack rope as easily as most people can walk on a sidewalk. He can also walk on his hands for many hours, or perform a complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or surpass any Olympic record in gymnastics.[151]

Superhuman Reflexes: Beast's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are on levels beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. His training with the X-Men, as well as his experience battling enemies, has granted him the reaction time to evade gunfire. He can react at low-level superhuman speeds, even catching smaller missile mid-air with his feet. His reflexes are a partial reason why the Beast is able to be so agile and fast, despite the abnormal bulk of his ape-like form.
Superhuman Dexterity: He can perform many tasks with his feet as easily as a human could do with his hands. His manual and pedal dexterity are so great that he can write using both hands at once or tie knots in rope with his toes.[151]

Regenerative Healing Factor: Beast's metabolism enables him to repair mild to moderate injuries much faster than a normal human. For instance, he can recover from minor ailments, such as a severe cold or fever within a few hours. More severe injuries, like broken bones, used to heal within a few days, whereas normal humans might take many weeks or even months. However, his healing abilities have increased to the point where he recovers from mild to moderate injuries within the span of a few hours. However, he cannot regenerate destroyed organs or severed limbs.[151]

Contaminant Resistance: Hank possesses a highly advanced immune system, which is a partial reason why he is able to recover from mild ailments, among other forms of sickness, within a few hours. Hank also possesses a high immunity to foreign chemicals, such as tranquilizers and certain types of poisons used by Kraven the Hunter in their encounter during his early years with the X-Men.

Temperature Resistance: Due to a combination of his own healing abilities and his fine coat of blue fur, Beast is resistant to freezing temperatures. This was evident even before his ape-like form, to the point of being frozen in solid ice by Iceman for a short time and survived with a moderate case of shivers once freed during his early years with the X-Men.[151]

Telepathic Resistance: Hank possesses moderate resistance to telepathic manipulation, and was able to resist Cassandra Nova's high-level telepathic powers for a short time until she used his own fears of devolving into a mindless animal against him.
Slowed Aging: Beast also possesses a slight degree of slowed aging due to his own healing abilities. Despite being 40 years of age since the time of Cassandra Nova's attack, he still retains the physical appearance and vitality of a man in his prime.

Superhuman Senses: Hank possesses enhanced, acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals, enabling him to see and hear distant objects more clearly than a normal human, and identify and track someone purely by scent over open terrain and his hands and feet are sensitive enough to detect electronic signals (from bombs, listening devices, etc.) through solid walls and floors. He also possesses cat-like night-vision that also allows him to see even in near-total darkness and when asked by Nick Fury, he was able to identify that it was the real Colossus when he came back to life all by scent.[151]
Timestream Attunement: Hank's experiments with time travel have attuned him to the timestream, making him aware of changes in history.[152]

Minor Pheromone Manipulation: Beast has the ability to secrete pheromones to attract members of the opposite sex.[151]
Razor-Sharp Claws and Fangs: Beast sports retractable, 3" razor-sharp claws at the tip of each finger and toe. Their natural edges, coupled with his strength, are sufficient to rend most conventional materials including flesh, wood, stone, and even metal effortlessly and enable him to climb up vertical surfaces by wedging his fingers and toes into the smallest of cracks. Recursive Retaining Enhancement: After coming in contact with an Extraterrestrial anomaly, Beast, while retaining his still humanoid form before multiple secondary mutations, ended up losing his enhanced simian like physiology to eventually regain all of his powers with clear physical enhancements, showcasing his strength to be equal to that of a green pre-Merged and/or Gravage Hulk, able to lift a whole plane atop his head with ease.[153]

Excellent Hand to Hand Combatant: The hyperactive, bouncing Beast is an excellent hand-to-hand fighter. He gained his initial combat training from Professor Xavier, and then continued his tutelage in combat gymnastics from Captain America. He typically uses a freestyle form of combat, similar to that of Spider-Man, that allows him to make full use of his great strength and agility. During times of anger, however, the Beast is known to resort to brawling and street fighting tactics.[citation needed]

Animal Instincts: For years, Hank McCoy has had to come to terms with his increasing animal instincts, which come with each new mutation. Cassandra Nova took advantage of this by making him act like an animal much to his humiliation until Beak managed to break him out of her control. Due to Beast's transformation into a cat-like being he has developed a carnivorous taste for flesh, which he is conflicted over.[citation needed]
Vulnerable Senses: Due to his animal-like mutation, the only other "weakness" that Beast has is the fact that his heightened senses can be taken advantage of.[citation needed]

Superhuman Durability: In addition to great strength, the Abomination's bodily tissues are substantially harder and more resistant to injury than the tissues of an ordinary human. The Abomination's skin is capable of withstanding great heat without blistering, great cold without freezing, and great impacts without injury. His body is also capable of withstanding tremendous impact forces, such as artillery shells and powerful energy blasts, without sustaining injury.[2]

Regenerative Healing Factor: Despite his great physical resilience, it is possible to injure him. However, he possesses an accelerated healing factor similar to that possessed by the Hulk. As a result, he is capable of regenerating great amounts of damaged or destroyed tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than an ordinary human. While the full extent of his healing powers are unknown they are inferior to those of the Hulk since the Hulk's healing powers, much like his strength, increases as he becomes angrier. The Abomination is also immune to all known Earthly diseases and infections.[2]

Gamma Radiation/Energy Manipulation and Emission: After his reconstitution by the Order of the Shield, the cloned Abomination was given the ability to generate varying levels of Gamma Radiation of an incredibly toxic variety. It is enough to overwhelm the Hulk, Captain Marvel, and Sunspot; heroes all known for absorbing energy.[28]

Underwater Breathing: The Abomination's lung capacity is higher than the Hulk's, allowing him to breathe underwater for longer periods of time.[2]

Suspended Animation: Extreme pain, cold, or extended lack of oxygen can cause the Abomination to enter a coma-like state of suspended animation, in which he can survive, perhaps indefinitely.[35]

Hulk Tracking: According to the Order of the Shield, they added a feature that enables Abomination to track down the Hulk.[27]

After being resurrected by the Chaos King, Abomination was greatly augmented. He was strong enough to engage Hulk and his Gamma-mutated allies and was strong enough to even rip the armored skin off A-Bomb (Rick Jones). He was also able to project hellfire. He can exert himself at peak capacity for several hours before the buildup of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him.[151] He also commented that after his mutation into a cat-like form that he no longer needs a full night of sleep, although it is unknown if he still retains this side effect of his stamina after becoming a new ape-like form once again.

Superhuman Durability: Beast's bodily tissues are harder and more resistant to certain types of injuries than the bodies of normal humans. His physiology can withstand great impact forces, though he can be injured by many types of conventional weapons such as standard firearms and bladed weapons. However, he can withstand physical impacts, such as falling from several stories by landing on his feet without suffering any broken bones or sprains. Also, he is able to be physically struck by many superhumanly strong beings like Colossus and The Hulk that would either severely injure or kill a normal human with little to no discomfort.[151]

Superhuman Agility: Beast's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. While in his simian form, he has the agility of a great ape combined with the acrobatic prowess of an Olympic level gymnast. He can walk a tightrope or a slack rope as easily as most people can walk on a sidewalk. He can also walk on his hands for many hours, or perform a complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or surpass any Olympic record in gymnastics.[151]

Superhuman Reflexes: Beast's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are on levels beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. His training with the X-Men, as well as his experience battling enemies, has granted him the reaction time to evade gunfire. He can react at low-level superhuman speeds, even catching smaller missile mid-air with his feet. His reflexes are a partial reason why the Beast is able to be so agile and fast, despite the abnormal bulk of his ape-like form.
Superhuman Dexterity: He can perform many tasks with his feet as easily as a human could do with his hands. His manual and pedal dexterity are so great that he can write using both hands at once or tie knots in rope with his toes.[151]

Regenerative Healing Factor: Beast's metabolism enables him to repair mild to moderate injuries much faster than a normal human. For instance, he can recover from minor ailments, such as a severe cold or fever within a few hours. More severe injuries, like broken bones, used to heal within a few days, whereas normal humans might take many weeks or even months. However, his healing abilities have increased to the point where he recovers from mild to moderate injuries within the span of a few hours. However, he cannot regenerate destroyed organs or severed limbs.[151]

Contaminant Resistance: Hank possesses a highly advanced immune system, which is a partial reason why he is able to recover from mild ailments, among other forms of sickness, within a few hours. Hank also possesses a high immunity to foreign chemicals, such as tranquilizers and certain types of poisons used by Kraven the Hunter in their encounter during his early years with the X-Men.

Temperature Resistance: Due to a combination of his own healing abilities and his fine coat of blue fur, Beast is resistant to freezing temperatures. This was evident even before his ape-like form, to the point of being frozen in solid ice by Iceman for a short time and survived with a moderate case of shivers once freed during his early years with the X-Men.[151]

Telepathic Resistance: Hank possesses moderate resistance to telepathic manipulation, and was able to resist Cassandra Nova's high-level telepathic powers for a short time until she used his own fears of devolving into a mindless animal against him.
Slowed Aging: Beast also possesses a slight degree of slowed aging due to his own healing abilities. Despite being 40 years of age since the time of Cassandra Nova's attack, he still retains the physical appearance and vitality of a man in his prime.

Superhuman Senses: Hank possesses enhanced, acute senses that are comparable to those of certain animals, enabling him to see and hear distant objects more clearly than a normal human, and identify and track someone purely by scent over open terrain and his hands and feet are sensitive enough to detect electronic signals (from bombs, listening devices, etc.) through solid walls and floors. He also possesses cat-like night-vision that also allows him to see even in near-total darkness and when asked by Nick Fury, he was able to identify that it was the real Colossus when he came back to life all by scent.[151]
Timestream Attunement: Hank's experiments with time travel have attuned him to the timestream, making him aware of changes in history.[152]

Minor Pheromone Manipulation: Beast has the ability to secrete pheromones to attract members of the opposite sex.[151]
Razor-Sharp Claws and Fangs: Beast sports retractable, 3" razor-sharp claws at the tip of each finger and toe. Their natural edges, coupled with his strength, are sufficient to rend most conventional materials including flesh, wood, stone, and even metal effortlessly and enable him to climb up vertical surfaces by wedging his fingers and toes into the smallest of cracks. He possesses elongated canines that he can use, if he chooses to do so, as effective weapons in close-quarter combat situations.[151]

Accelerated Probability Generator: His brain and analytical thinking had been boosted to unprecedented levels making is mind comparable to that of a quantum computer, able to fabricate a detailed map of the space-time continuum which would enable him to predict and act on any and all possible outcomes that may occur.

Cosmic Energy: Like others who were altered by the black vortex, Hank could discharge potent blasts of energy from his being at will.
Cosmic Awareness: Either a combination of his natural intellect being ascended or via interaction with the black vortex, Henry McCoy had achieved a form of epiphany that entitled him enlightenment to the truth of the cosmos.

Recursive Retaining Enhancement: After coming in contact with an Extraterrestrial anomaly, Beast, while retaining his still humanoid form before multiple secondary mutations, ended up losing his enhanced simian like physiology to eventually regain all of his powers with clear physical enhancements, showcasing his strength to be equal to that of a green pre-Merged and/or Gravage Hulk, able to lift a whole plane atop his head with ease.[153]

Symbiote: While on Ulgriath, Hank bonded to a symbiote that escaped from Haze Mancer's collection, which adapted to his unique powers. While bonded to it, Beast's appearance was similar to his demonic form,[154] and it augmented his physical strength and enabled him to summon symbiote-augmented demons as extensions of his body.[155] This symbiote later separated from him to return to its homeworld.[156]

Magic: Taking Stephen Strange's advice Hank decided to delve into magic and many of its practices. Dabbling in the mystic arts has granted Beast with an odd new beast form, one in which he can channel immense amounts of magical powers through.[24]

Genius Intelligence: Dr. Hank McCoy is one of the eight smartest people in the world.[120] He has six PhDs,[12] including one in biophysics.[13] A world-renowned biochemist,[157] Henry McCoy's greatest asset is his keen scientific mind. As the X-Men's resident technological and medical genius,[157] he possesses extraordinary expertise in genetics,[157] biochemistry,[158][157] and electronics[159]. He discovered the hormonal extract that is the chemical cause of mutation[37] and cured the Legacy Virus.[94] Among his technological feats, McCoy has designed and built Cerebra;[98] a time travel device with the X-Club;[160] a machine which separates the Evolutionaries from cosmic rays;[161] and the Jean Grey School for Higher Learning, outfitted with Shi'ar technology as well as a thermonuclear reactor.[162] During his time travel situation he was placed behind the curve on the technologies of the day.[21] He is also quite the gifted computer scientist, hacking Bruce Banner's computer[163] and designing a computer system that locked down as soon as Kitty Pride tried to access it.[17] He has extensive knowledge of a variety of other scientific fields.[157] Cecilia Reyes was impressed with his knowledge of theoretical physics and basic anatomy.[164] Though, he has humbly stated himself to be an amateur in physics and technology.[158] He has an eidetic memory[165] and it shows in his ability to recall complex mathematical or chemical formula with little to no research.[166] He can additionally remember and quote historical text, literature, or even comic strip quotes from memory.[167] Hank is also an accomplished keyboard musician.[157]

Excellent Hand to Hand Combatant: The hyperactive, bouncing Beast is an excellent hand-to-hand fighter. He gained his initial combat training from Professor Xavier, and then continued his tutelage in combat gymnastics from Captain America. He typically uses a freestyle form of combat, similar to that of Spider-Man, that allows him to make full use of his great strength and agility. During times of anger, however, the Beast is known to resort to brawling and street fighting tactics.[citation needed]

Multilingual: He is fluent in several languages including English, German,[64] French,[168] Latin, Italian,[169][170] Spanish, Japanese,[168] Arabic, and Russian[171] as well as Latverian. The Black Swan has also been teaching him a few extinct languages.[172][151]

Expert Tactician: He is a capable leader as he has led his own team of Defenders with fellow X-Men Iceman and Angel as teammates. Even when he is not the leader of a team, he has been a key member in some of the greatest team accomplishments, such as helping to rescue Nova on Mars with the Secret Avengers. He is also a great team player.[citation needed]

Indomitable Will: Hank's dedication to science and co-existence between humans and mutants is unwavering. He never gave up on finding a cure for the Legacy Virus in which he eventually did find a cure. He has great compassion for both humans and mutants alike, and his unflagging courage allows him to protect both of them at any cost, even with his own life.[citation needed]

Weaknesses
Animal Instincts: For years, Hank McCoy has had to come to terms with his increasing animal instincts, which come with each new mutation. Cassandra Nova took advantage of this by making him act like an animal much to his humiliation until Beak managed to break him out of her control. Due to Beast's transformation into a cat-like being he has developed a carnivorous taste for flesh, which he is conflicted over.[citation needed]
Vulnerable Senses: Due to his animal-like mutation, the only other "weakness" that Beast has is the fact that his heightened senses can be taken advantage of.[citation needed]
Allergy: Beast claims to be allergic to sawdust.[6]

The Beast possesses a fully-equipped laboratory in Xavier's mansion. Presumably, it holds the latest in biological and material analysis devices. It may also contain Shi'ar technology. At one point, Beast had possession of the Mind Gem.

Stealth Cyber Gear: Technology Hank picked up while traveling through time-space. The Cyber Gear implant directly interfaces Henry's cerebellum with any and all technological appliances, giving him complete control.[173]
Weapons
While known to use heavy weapons in battle,[citation needed] Beast prefers to fight bare-handed.[citation needed]

We need Graviton in MCOC. The guy's gravity based powers could bring about unique debuffs and immunities (maybe reduced chance of landing projectiles due to his personal gravity field?)

We also need more Aquatic champs in the game. Pearl is not only Filipina but she could bring water manipulation powers. I'd love to see her have synergies with Namor and Hydroman if he made it to MCOC one day
