Rank up gems issue

I have a 2015, 3-4 Tech rank up gem. But when I try to rank up my hulkbuster it only gives me the option to use my 2016, 3-4 rank up gem.

Am I missing something here?

The team is looking into this but, in the meantime, our Support Team would be best equipped to help you out here. You can reach them from the game's home screen by clicking the gear-shaped icon in the top-left corner of the screen and then scrolling down to the button labeled "Support".
