Thoughts on rebalancing testing
I was able to test all characters and here are my thoughts and opinions. Overall I think the rebalances were good. Only speaking to Cull and Namor if these champs would've been released how they are now I think most people still would've went for them. With that said here are my thoughts.
Cull - Overall the tone down of his attack power isn't too bad. He's still extremely powerful and now can handle earlier fights better. With that said his block proficiency still needs to be looked at. It doesn't need a huge tweak but it does need some attention. He's just not a viable champ to use in most content due to this. At least before he was able to do insane damage so the amount of block damage you had to take was limited. Now you do very very good damage but still can only take the same amount of blocks before you die. Overall he's still a very good champ but unfortunately isn't useful for most game modes.
Namor - I have tested Namor and he's still a very good champ with very useful utility. While ramp up is slower now he still performs pretty close to what he was in fights. Although they will take a little longer overall he's still a top champion in the game.
Ebony Maw - His update was good but still feels like something is missing. May need another tweak or two. Attack power is still too low. Overall doesn't feel like change impacted him at all on offense, makes him tougher on defense.
Annihilus - Honestly his changes don't change my opinion on him from previous version. I don't see him being useful in any content and will only be a defender. I think he needs another look at and maybe some comments from players on how to improve. Overall his rebalance didn't impact him on offense or defense really.
Human Torch - I love the update to temperature, it seems to be what he was supposed to be like. He's a great champ and everyone that has him should be very happy for this update.
With that said now I will post my thoughts and opinions on compensation. The way they are giving us the rank materials, awakening gems and stones is good but the only issue I have is for the people that spent lots of real world dollars on champions that were advertised as OP and then tweaked downward there should be some compensation in units. I would say you can ignore giving any units from arena grinding, but if people paid $100, $1,000, $10,000 on crystals why not provide a 10% unit refund. This isn't game breaking but I do think it is the right thing to do. If I spend $5,000 on crystals to get the champion who isn't as advertised there needs to be a partial refund at least of $500 in units. As it is still in game currency Kabam loses nothing, what they do gain is confidence in customers that they will at least get some compensation back for being mislead. Again this is only my thoughts and opinions and I hope Kabam will take them constructively. I think a unit compensation package for crystal spending (on those specific crystals only) would go along way with customers and definitely lower any outrage towards the company at times.
If you agree or don't agree let me know, these are just my thoughts and I don't have to be right.
Thanks,
