Selling 5* champs?

Why can we not sell 5* or 6* champions? That’s about the stupidest thing in the world. You can sell anything and everything champion wise except those.

I’d love to sell the trash meme champions on my roster for anything useful resource wise.

I just pulled a 5* Falcon for the SEVENTH time. Garbage. Hits like a wet noodle and not good for anything. Give me a sell button already

Then don’t answer. I was asking why legitimately. Why is it a terrible thing for selling if you want to do so? Don’t understand the reasoning maybe because there isn’t a reason other than “we say so”

The reasoning will not suffice for you because your mind is already made up that the idea of preventing the sale of 5* and 6* champs is a bad idea.

@OmegaMan if you duped that 5* Falcon 7× that's 1,925 6* shards (nearly 1/5 of a 6* crystal), and 168 pieces of t5 Skill ISO you acquired along the way. If you sold him each time, you'd have a fraction if that. I understand the sentiment towards the champ. I just duped mine again from a 5* Feature a couple weeks ago so I feel yah to a certain degree. However, why would you want to sell yourself short? It's not like you're forced to use the champ.

I have plenty of champs sitting at R1 that will likely never see R2, let alone R5 (Falcon being one of those). I'll happily let them collect digital dust while collecting all the bonus items when I'm unfortunate enough to pull them again. Sort of a consolation prize at that point, lol. There's also that possibility he'll get a rework down the road, or some Variant Quest will come around that makes him extremely useful. Then the once seemingly useless champ will have a purpose.

I also understand the concept that it's your account so you should have some say in what stays and what goes. I can appreciate that. For 4* and lower, you can sell them all the live long day, so why not 5*+? If memory serves me correctly, they removed the sell function on 5* champs because some players were 'accidentally selling 5* champs.' This was way back when they were MUCH harder to come by, and losing one, even a meme tier kind of hurt. Then it would result in a Support Ticket and extra work so they figured remove the function entirely to avoid any oooppz moments in regards to 5* champs. I suppose these days it's not as bad to lose a 5* champ, however I still don't see the benefit in selling any tier of Champion. To each their own at the end of the day.

This is correct, basically Kabam owns all our accounts and allows us to play with them

How can u disagree kabam owns your account? They can take it away any time they want to or change anything they want. That's part of the T.O.S. you agreed to when u created an account.

Ok so the reason why Kabam removed sell button because back in the day someone hacked 3 accounts from Mmxiv, the top ally at that moment , supposedly was ex member of the alliance who new the login info of others, he got mad he got kicked and he login in others account and sold all there 5 stars champs literally, and people got screwed, so yeah fk this sell button never sell a champ unwritten rule

Kabam does not encourage players to sell their champions. That's Why.

Hey guys, we already stated HERE that we don't have any plans to restore the ability to sell 5-Star Champions. This also applies to 6-Star Champions. However, if we happen to change our minds about this in the future, we'll be sure to let you all know!
