Why not perma bans?

Why doesn’t people get a permaban for using Bots or other cheats/hacks? Or more longer then 7 days. It is unfair for the player base which is always playing fair.

Because everyone must be given a chance to realize and rectify the mistakes they made....
For eg:- I used Mod once on ROL... They banned me for 7 Days....
Since then I haven't even thought about mod

I call bull! Some people get away with cheating the game for a long time before caught. Kabam's concern is their bottom line and not so much the community. What might you or i have gotten as a reward had they not cheated? Maybe we have missed 5 star shards from the war events because of them! Maybe we would have gotten the max awards in a daily event if they hadn't been cheating. If, there is no reasonable doubt that they cheated it should be account execution! Dead...and odds are they are the kind who have more than one account so...let me get out the worlds smallest violin to play for them! Here's the unvarnished truth! I could care less if they cheated kabam! But it makes me see red when i think about how they have cheated me!!! And if i ever found out someone in my alliance was cheating i would rat him out in a heartbeat!

This right here is why not a permanent ban. And I'm ok with that even though some situations you'd think it would be instant. I have never been banned from this game, but I did get banned from a different hero fighting game and had to go through loops to figure out why and even then couldn't appeal the wrongful ban. I ended up quitting the game because I got so far in it and they couldn't fix whatever issue was happening with my new account that prob woulda got me another false ban.
