How did we get matched in this war?

So I understand, if we lose, our rating isn't going to drop, but still this is just time wasted for my alliance. I don't think this is a shell.

We also got matched against a big alliance and something like this has never happened since the times when matchmaking was actually messed up.

We are a 7 mil alliance by the way and all our previous wars were always against alliances around that rating for quite a while.

Seams to be going around today we're not Hugh alliance 1.1 mil But our competitor is barely over 300K I feel like a bully , And this is so boring basically takeing walks through the map

Don't feel bad I'm in a 5 mil rated alliance we fought a 1.2mil rated alliance I felt so bad for these guys we all did so we didn't even attack any and let them win

Oh man good luck. I've played with A-POC, they 100% pretty much every war.

it's because of 2 battlegroups, hardly anyone match makes for 2 battlegroups anymore, and so the system finds the soonest one in que.

Dang, that's unfortunate. Usually the longer it takes to find a war match, the more desperate it becomes, tresulting in more difference in the war rating between the two alliances.

On the bright side, losing only reduces your war rating by 1, but on the bad side, that's 1 wasted war that could have been matched to a more even opponent and thus, you will be missing out on those rewards. I guess better luck next matching?

yeah, pretty much this. opportunity cost we couldn't even control

The match making system has always been flawed and needs a revamp so it doesn't have these completely lopsided match ups where you don't have a chance. Also a lot of times just throughs people together with a large chasm between the war ratings.

When my friends alliance was starting out and had a rating of just barely 600k they would repeadily get match up against other alliances whose alliance rating was way bigger.

How's a 600k 21k average member alliance supposed to compete against 6 mill+ alliance with an average member of 304k , and other times since then they've been completely over matched.
