Act 1 Buff?

Were the rewards for act 1 buffed recently? Because I just did exploration 2 weeks ago...

should have explored act 1 after the buff but after i finished act 1 in 1 week and explored it in another 1 week

Imo, I think it's a good idea that kabam is trying to make the game easier for beginners, but I think this was unnecessary.
