The rewards for 100% act 5 are miles better than the 6.1 rewards. But if your just wanting access to spend like a sultan on cav crystals then that's a different story ?

I'm working on cavalier rn, all I can say is be prepared to die on some fun and interactive nodes

Well it kind depends, if you already have solutions for the 6 quests for cavalier go for it, but you might need the resources of act5 to have a smouther time. Nowadays act5 is not that hard. There are two hard fights for someone at the uncollected level. The collector and last ultron.
In general I would say better explore act5.

Its take far more time to fully explore act 5. Do the initial push into act 6 for Cavalier, get the upgraded calendar/crystals and any progression rewards that they hand out. After that go back for the 100% of act 5 so you're not missing out on any bonus rewards.

If you have the ability to reasonably get through one pass in 6.1 then do it. Get the progression title and then return to exploring Act V your account will be better off in that order.

Exploration always takes forever of any story content but if you can’t get through 6.1 then work on Act V exploration. Still the moment you have the solutions/ability for a single pass through 6.1 get it done.
