Human torch medius interaction with Psychic thorns

in Bugs and Known Issues
I was on war tier 3 today on path 3 that has Psychic thorns node that i didnt heal from the mediums neither took damage .As far as i know human torch mediums are Non contact attacks so i should have healed for 50% of the damage i did. Sp1 was working as intented and healed.

    All they do is energy damage-they still make contact. If anything, you should have taken damage.

    How does him medium that hits with the fire makes contact?
