He should be one of the sickest champs in the game and he’s almost there! Just give a little more damage, block proficiency, and incinerate immunity (I mean, he’s made of fire...c’mon) and he would be the coveted god-tier champ he deserves to be.

I definitely agree. Okay, so I may be biased just a little by the fact that Dormammu is my favourite champion... despite the fact that I don't have him. But I've read up on his bio and apparently he is a destroyer of worlds - so he could certainly have some incinerate and immunity to it. Deserves to be a god tier champ, for sure.

Agreed! I've been a fan since pulling him as my first good 5* (third times a charm?), but his damage is absolutely HORRIBLE. That's his main issue (in my opinion), damage output. Yeah, his extra damage from heavy attacking an Imbued opponent is amazing if they're up to 100 stacks, but in some fights it's rather difficult to land 2 heavy attacks and it's only after a lengthy build up.

I find it funny how some of the XL champs do less damage than the S ones, despite having more mass and strength. Example: XL - Dormammu & King Groot, S - Rocket Raccoon & Spiderman (Symbiote). You really think RR's gonna hit you harder than Rhino? Lol

But yeah he is cool. And your points are valid too.
But u see there is someone before him who fought a tremendous war and lost.
Ghost Rider and Sentry and Magneto
One of the most talked about champs in forum history.

Why doesn't ghost rider has incenerate ability? Why isn't he incenerate immune?
Why isn't he poision immune?

And why is sentry like this? Why introduce Void? Can't sentry become void for the rest of the fight after landing a sp3. That would have been a unique concept.
And cool too.

And Magento? Well why is he such a meme?

The gravity and love these 3 champ got from the Marvel comics they lack some absolute mejor stuff when it comes to these game. With champ doing damage like

Aegon Ghost Corvus Sunspot , using them feels soo satisfying. While those 3 can't get those abilities coz this is different than marvel comics Universe?
That was thier logic. Which is absolutely make no sense.

MCU does the same thing when they are criticised for having the same formula and killing of good character development for the sake of the story.
It's different than comic universe.

It's Marvel comics. MCU and this game and every other marvel based stuff exhist becoz some certain cool people wanted to make us feel spacial and they saw the world from a different angles. That's why
They drew and wrote.
And by god they did awesome.
Weather it's DC or Marvel or dark horse or
Manga or tintin or even any comics or animation genre.

Don't wanna give them their comic book status, fine. Then why give excuse?
It's all business and it's understandable.
Buffing old champs acquired by almost 90% of the player base makes no sense.
It's simple marketing. The end. Just don't give a lame logic. That's not how multi verse work.

@007md92 Same could be said for Storm (as I've ranted about several times). She's more than just Lightning damage. Storm controls all the elements, like tornado-strength winds, freezing rain, baseball-sized hail, etc. Also, Storm needs have Coldsnap & Frostbite immunity because she's able to adjust the temperature around her body. I saw that ability in a late 90s comic, when the X-Men were in Antarctica during a Magneto/Joseph trial with Erik the Red.

Ok, maybe I was wrong about which comic I read that in. I mean, it was over 20yrs ago, but I remember what the page looks like. Scrolled through online comics trying to find it. No luck, however, I did find something else...

Hey guys, let's all just chill. Dormammu isn't supposed to be a hard-hitting champ, he's supposed to be a power control and burn champ. He wasn't designed to hit hard, he was designed for his utility in power control. I reckon he's one of the best. And he isn't the wettest noodle out there either, his damage can be pretty decent if you play him right. He's like on the same damage level as The Hood. He ain't the best champ but far from the worst. I can think of tonnes of worst champs than Dormammu and needs serious buffing right now (Deadpool Xforce, Magneto, Iron Patriot, Moon Knight etc.)

I actually use Hood A LOT. He's the top 5* Mystic on my alt account and I wreck everyone with him. Honestly don't know why he isn't a higher tier champ
