How good/bad is pulling a 5* Rocket? And why?

For luck, I had my son spin my 5* basic last night and got a Rocket. He was excited because he swears its way better than my previous Groot and OML. In the moment I was excited cuz he was, but now I'm wondering....how good is Rocket as far as 5*s are concerned? Any feedback would be appreciated.

    He is pretty good! Huge damage, very little utility.

    I am better at intercepting than I am at parrying, though I've been practicing both during easy and medium arena AI.

    If he's duped he is similar to SL, right?

    He's great for Damage, but squishy. You have to keep him moving. Evade and Parry are your friends. He's one of my favorites for Attack. I have a different lineup now, but I still think he's great. He hasn't been affected much after 12.0.
