Frequent crashes with Phoenix [More Info Needed]

Sometimes I keep getting crashes with Phoenix attacks and I cannot beat the opponent, until I switch character and beat them. This usually happens when I am dealing death blow with Phoenix.
Now I am fighting in labyrinth where Phoenix is the only cosmic champion and whenever I am landing death blow to tech champ, game hangs and crashes.
Does anyone else confirm this issue with Phoenix? It doesn't happen always but sometimes when it starts, it keeps repeating until I use different character to get past.

    It can happen due to your phone.
    Some phones don't support certain champions, making the game to crash whenever these champions appear on the screen.
    Is a long time bug, so maybe it can't be fixed

    No I use Phoenix very often. This crash occurs sometimes and will repeat itself until I use a different champion to finish the fight.
    Otherwise Phoenix is great for me.

    My device is Mi Pad, Nvidia Tegra K1, 2 GB RAM, Android 4.4.
    It can run other graphic demanding games well.
    Game freezes, then if I touch it crashes with Game not responding message
