**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Bug with Rogue's Buff Replication (SP1)

Mirage_TurtleMirage_Turtle Posts: 1,868 ★★★★
Rogue can replicate buffs with her SP1 and it doesn't work on Tech champs or Unstoppable buffs. Here's the pertinent line from her ability description:

Replicated Buffs stay active as long as Rogue keeps touching the opponent, after which all Replicated Buffs on her will be Nullified

There are two issues with this:
  • The description doesn't list how long the Buffs will stay on Rogue in between touches. It appears to be 1.5-2 seconds. This portion isn't a bug...but it does seem to be an omission rooted in the fact that Rogue is an older champ and this timing value should be added to her description. As a suggestion, this timer should be extended, at least to 5 seconds. Under the current timer, the buffs will expire if the enemy throws a special because she Special animation lasts longer than the timer, rendering her ability useless even in the most skilled of hands.

  • The Bug is from the "touching the opponent" part of the description. Hitting into the opponent's block counts as touching the opponent while the opponent hitting into your block does not count as touching the opponent.
Hitting into the block will reset Rogue's buff timer:

The opponent hitting into your block will not reset Rogue's buff timer:

In both cases, Rogue is touching the opponent. To be consistent with the description, the opponent hitting into the block should also reset the Buff timer. This will give her much more utility on her SP1 when using her. Additionally, it requires more skill for someone fighting her on defense. They either need to stay away from her or hit her with a Special attack that doesn't make contact so the Buffs expire.

Please fix this bug and add the time to her description.

Agree with the OP and Rogue could use additional context to her description to clarify her signature ability.

Another suggestion that I think would work well would be to have Rogue pause her buffs when the enemy throws a special attack. The enemy throwing a special attack, whether it lands or not, is the only thing that needs to happen for the stolen buffs to fall off. In its current bugged state, the buff steal mechanic is nearly worthless.
  • This is not a bug, and is the way this is intended to work. I'm moving this to the Suggestions section and passing it on to the team.

Respectfully, the phrase "as long as Rogue keeps touching the opponent" makes this a bug. Rogue blocking a hit is still Rogue "touching the opponent". Any time the in-game action doesn't match the written description, is that not a bug?
