Ghulk bugged??

Hey guys..
I just found out ghulk is not triggering face me on degen node(0.60% degen) in map6.. even ghost can't shrug it off so it's a passive effect right. Ghulk should trigger face me not no he's no triggering it.
Am i missing something or its bugged...

    Some regens Don’t trigger because they are a separate kind of effect
    What node specifically is it?

    He doesn't trigger Face me on degen. It's always worked that way and confirmed by kabam to be intended

    Yep, it's illogical, but Kabam has confirmed this to be the case while never giving a solid explanation as to why.

    Starburst and Degeneration are both passive and both cause damage over time. Starburst triggers Face Me. Degeneration does not. Go figure.

    Well, bane is an active debuff.

    For gulk, the best description is that the degen node is weird. it is straight degeneration. starburst depends on some factors, it somehow ends up counting.

    They have already talked about this.

    There are debuffs, thre are passive, and there is a third category of effects that doesnt belong to either of those.

    Bane, life transfer, degeneration, etc are not passive damage over time effects. They aren't meant to be countered by anything besides the node itself
