CapIW vs Uncollected Mr Sinister

I was using CapIW with tech/cosmic team. On two occasions I hit him with my L2, dropped him to about 5%, and then he just died. I’m assuming it was because I reversed his heal.

But his description says his regen can’t go below 0%. So I’m trying to understand how it happened. Assassin?

I had multiple times where I went to fight dormammu or sorcerer supreme and my champ died as soon as the fight started. I have a video of it happening against dormammu.

If you have a champ that triggers buff at the beginning of a fight, Sym Supreme can nullify them and inflict damage, which can kill you.

If you're talking about the EQ Dormammu boss, he has Languor, which will inflict damage if you stay at 0 power for too long. If you didn't land a hit quick enough, you could have been killed by that.

Gotcha. That makes sense for the sym supreme fight. The dormammu one was the same as the sym Supreme one, just don’t have a video. Started the fight with stark spidey, dashed back at the start of the fight, and then dead.

That’s not an instant death. You took lots of damage at the beginning and then got hit right away.

It's exactly what I described. If you used Stark Spidey and dashed back immediately, you're not gaining any power. WIth Languor, if spend too much time at 0 power, you will take damage. You need to land a hit quickly to generate power before this triggers to avoid this.

Maybe this is just me, but that sounds stupid. I have literally 1 second to get power or take the 240% damage? So if the defender dashed back at the beginning of the fight instead of attacking you would get wrecked instantly every time?

I went for the parry at the beginning and it just said KO. Did not know why he was taking such crazy damage right at the start.

The more buff you start with is the more damage he applies. It would do you some good to read what a defender does before thinking its a bug.

That's not how the node works. He has Transducer which drains your power when your close to him and Langour which deals a lot of damage if you reach zero power. If you block a hit you'll gain a small amount of power which will be immediately drained and deal damage to you. Dashing back shouldn't cause any damage unless your champ has passive power gain. As long as you dash back and don't block a hit you can take as long as you want.

I don't know what happened with stark spidey since he doesn't have passive power gain. though maybe post a video so we can see what happens.

I would post a video if I had it. After stark spidey died instantly against dorm, and then cull died against sym supreme, that’s when I recorded the cull video in case it happened again. I don’t normally record fights.

I would post a video if I had it. After stark spidey died instantly against dorm, and then cull died against sym supreme, that’s when I recorded the cull video in case it happened again. I don’t normally record fights.

Cull is because sym immediately nullifies buffs and deals damage at the start of the fight, killing you as he nullifies thanos favour
