Tier 4 not challenger but expert?

Our alliance is at tier 4, but the nodes are like tier 3 or higher. Why should we have harder nodes, but smaller points? Isn't there something wrong?

    It is because you are matched up with a tier 3 alliance. and you will get tier 3 multiplier.

    False. You could get either multiplier. Usually t4 multiplier. It is a way the system screws you. Has happened many times.
    OP, hopefully your alliance luck is good enough to get t3 multiplier. I suspect it will be t4 though.

    You get what there stay one your end so if it stay tier4 u get tier4 it mess op in my opinion
