Dup 4* Carnage or wait it out for Hyperion

I have a 4* unduped Carnage that I thought was useless until I watched a Seatin video showcasing his amazing power gain with his signature ability. I have a cosmic awakening gem and I want to know if I should use it on him or wait until I finally get a 4* Hyperion?

I already have my 4* Corvus Glaive duped and maxed out and I'm trying to get uncollected with only 4*s. Mostly weak 5* roster right now.
I also have Proxima, Cull, Venom the Duck, and Venom who I'll get duped as a reward from the just ended arena.

carnage sig is nice to have, but not totally necessary. Hyperion's sig ability is a must have.

Thanks, I'm getting impatient though and I wish I could just pull Carnage again or hyperion so I don't have to wait.

Honestly, the difference between awakened and unawakened Hyperion is visible and useful. He gets longer power gain, lounger duration on the furies, all great stuff. I used the four star gem from the summoners appreciation calendar on my Hyperion, and that’s helped me power through the rest of Act 4 and Act 5 chapter 1. Plus, once you hit 5.2.1 and 5.2.2, power gain is a godsend and Hyperion hits like a freaking truck. It’s great.
