How to get cavalier?

I’ve recently completed act 5 and am, naturally looking to take on act 6 to become cavalier. (I don’t really want to do the rest of act 6 though)
I have almost no idea what I’m doing and what I need to do. My 5* roster is as follows. 0 6*s
4/55 Duped Archangel (gem)
4/55 unduped Silver Surfer
3/45 unduped IMIW
2/35 unduped Ægon
2/35 unduped Captain America (OG)
1/25 duped Green Goblin ( natural)
1/25 duped Kingpin (natural)
1/25 duped BPCW (natural)
1/25 unduped Karnak
1/25 unduped Ghulk(looking to take to R3)
1/25 unduped Loki
1/25 unduped Cable
1/25 unduped Howard the duck
1/25 unduped Cyclops blue team
1/1 unduped Guillotine
I open around 4/5 5*s a month and will be 1100 shards away from my first 6* at the end of this month
Who should I take up, who should I hunt, what paths/hard fights to look out for, masteries, other helpful info all welcome.
I’m looking to complete 6.1 by June (for my birthday), is this possible or will it take me longer
Thanks in advance

I'll highlight a couple key ideas about 6.1:
- The middle maps are easier than the bookends in most people's opinion. 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 are harder due to the nodes being trickier (at least for just first completion), 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 are substantially easier, and then 6.1.5 and 6.1.6 are mostly about figuring out solutions to the bosses and maybe a couple hard minibosses. So don't get discouraged if you can't easily get through 6.1.1: players found that once they got past 6.1.1 it actually got easier in general, again except for a few fights downstream.
- You need an answer to Crossbones, the 6.1.5 boss. He sits on a biohazard node so you need bleed immune. He shakes off debuffs, so you probably don't want to use something that heavily relies on those. And he periodically heals (not an overpowering amount, but a substantial amount) so you either need something that can reduce or suppress healing or you need to just outdamage it. I used 4/55 Iceman with some attack boosts, so you don't need ridiculous damage. But you need to play aggressively, because slow play means more healing for you to chew through.
For me personally, I would have had a tough time doing 6.1 without my full complement of 5/65 and 4/55 champs, but that's a question of skill (and perseverance against very long fights, vis-a-vis Sentinel). But nothing stops you from trying, and I would recommend just load up a team and give 6.1.1 a try. Don't spend, not even a single potion. Just try to get the hang of No Retreat. If NR is too hard initially, practice will help over time. So while you're building up your roster, you can see how far you have to go with your NR skills by periodically giving it a spin. That's how a lot of people eventually beat RoL. Eventually your skill level will go up and your roster will grow out and they will meet in the middle at a point where you can progress reasonably deeply into 6.1.1. At some point you can then make the decision on whether to continue growing, or drop some units on the table and try to push through.
Right now I think what's going to stop you from going all the way is having no Crossbones counter. Theoretically speaking AA can bring him down with perfect play and a ton of units, but I wouldn't go that way. I would wait until I had a strong bleed immune before taking him down. But he's all the way in 6.1.5, so you can still try to make progress in the earlier maps. Gladiator Hulk would be useful in 6.1.1. AA would be useful in many fights here and there. But honestly I'm not sure how far you're going to get with that roster overall. It might take some additional pulls and more rank up growth. If 6.1.1 is too tough now, I would recommend shifting your attention to the Variants, some of which are easier than 6.1.1 and contain good rank up materials and gems that can help you build up an Act 6 roster.
