Cap IW question

Is 5* Cap IW worth a generic gem if I can only get him up to sig 20?
I been dumping all my science stones into Void, but now that I finally pulled Cap I've got barely anything left and wondering if he's worth the generic if I can't level him that high.

    Maybe wait until you can bring him to sig100 before using the generic, just in case you get someone more deserving or a science gem from this upcoming black widow event

    I was going to say. I'd try to get a Science gem from the rifts and save your generic.
