6.3.6 Cap Question

Ok, I know the main struggle node on Cap is the Crit Me With Ypur Best shot node limiting some counters including possible nullify champs for his furies. I was just wondering; if I use a Morningstar and get a crit on my L2, will that partially do the nullify damage or not? I’m about to step in and I’m just wondering who I should use for him other than my Star-Lord, Hype, and Domino

Use awakened Ronan. Cap gains a bunch of fury buffs. You can have really long stuns and cheese the boss easily.

Only have an unawakened and no gem except generic

So MS sp2 won’t get the nullify benefits

Just multiplied by crit damage rating
Again only critical hitsDeal damage
The yellow number thingy that people love about Corvus and ghost

Not rly a way to go around this fight
Duped Ronan is probably one of the best
You need crits and power management
It’s a pretty badly designed fight imo
Any damage done during destructive feedback is also ignored

You can also use ghost, with the hood synergy.
Your damage still comes from crits, that won't change. But at least you are able to tank sp3's and keep the battle going

@will-o-wisp I don’t have a very high end roster. My only GREAT option is my 3/45 IMIW. Just L1 and stick with 5 hit combos

Oh, this is actually a good question imo. Could Rogue be insane for this fight; power control on L2 and fury Buff steal on L1? I have her as a 5* and am wondering if I get a few parries and throw the L1’s, will she crit for an obscene amount?

Hm, that's an interesting question. Ultimately, no I don't think she will only because she can only replicate five buffs in one go, so you'd have to fire off a few sp1s to get a good amount and by that time, with the other nodes he has, CapIW will almost certainly get to an sp3 and kill you. Another great option for this fight is Starky. His taunt bypasses the Surging Vengeance node and he has a very high crit rate and very big crit damage.

I could one shot him with Stark Spidey easily enough. High crit rate, good damage and his taunt means that cap will throw SP1 and SP2 rather than holding on to the SP3. If the taunt falls off you have power drain to back you up as well. He’s a very good option if you play it right, in my opinion that was one of the easiest bosses of that chapter.

That's what I'm think @TheSpicyKnight , I'd definitely use a cosmic gem because there will most like be more Ronan cheese in the future so that's what I wanted to do but there is no way I'm using a generic

Duped ronan or ghost with hood are the best options, you can get it done with Corvus and sparky

Utilized revives from Feeling Green event. Hardest boss had to be Mysterio I had to revive my Hype 3-4 times to get him down @Ridwando
