Void or Thing awakening gem

Have a 4* awakening gem science class. Was thinking about using it on Void or recently pulled Thing. Was leaning towards Thing but unsure. Need some expert advise.

No sig stones, used the earlier on cap IW. He's my top 4*. Would only be awakening the sig. Make a difference?

Void. His dupe defines the champ. Thing, his dupe isn’t as important.
