Event quest chapter 3.2 bug

I am trying to 100% normal in the "Have you seen this dog?" event and have run into a bug that will not allow me to take a certain path. At the very top of the map is a kingpin, after him you go down to a fork where you can go right to face X-23 or down to face Cyclops, only it doesn't stop at the fork and automatically turns right to the X-23. I thought maybe I just missed something but it's the same layout at the very bottom and I can choose when I get to that fork. Is this a known issue?

i thought i was the only one. ive had explored that cyclops part in heroic mode by going on the middle path. wasting a lot of energy
