Making a Kabam ID forces me to restart the game

Whenever I try and make a kabam account for my pre-existing level 53 account, a popup shows up on my screen and says that my account is already linked. It then prompts me to either cancel or login and whenever I press login with a new Kabam ID that I am trying to link to my level 53 account, it forces me to start over rather than linking the Kabam ID to my account. I never have the option to "continue the game" as I should be getting. And I have submitted a support ticket but they said they couldn't verify ownership of the account although the only piece of information that I had gotten wrong was "what email is linked to your Kabam Account" which is the reason why I supported a ticket since my account is apparently linked so how am I supposed to know what email was used for my Kabam Account. My account at the moment is linked to my game center account but I want to have kabam account for the game so I have an easier way of accessing it. I have no idea what to do and I don't want to lose my progress and Kabam support has not been of help as they closed my case for some reason.
