Whatever happened to champion challenges

These were the best content in the game
Incredibly fun
Very challenging
And good rewards these used to come every 2-3 months but we haven’t had one in over a year now

No they weren’t they were an extra piece of content similar to a boss rush

Agree to disagree side quest didn’t use to be a monthly thing and champion challenges sorta died down when the side quests became a regular thing maybe it’s just a coincidence I guess

I think they need to bring these back, but they need to be SERIOUSLY scaled up.

The first one I remember was the Coulson challenge. It was designed so the most players wouldn't finish it. I'd assume that less than 5% of the player base finished that challenge 100%. They were structured differently than the most recent ones. There were no portals originally. You had to do the whole thing in one go and there weren't multiple versions of the same fight within the same map. Personally, I liked this old style better.

The last few we've had have been pretty easy so long as your account is older than about a month. Players are able to speedrun the final map without much thought.

I'd love to see these make a comeback, but I'd also hope to see a serious challenge come of it. Maybe bring it with the same layout and reward structure as before so it's just as accessible as the last few times...but add in a separate Cavalier difficulty that's crazy hard with rewards to match.

They weren't a regular occurrence. Just an occasional treat. We've had Boss Rushes more recently, but in both cases, they're special content that comes once in a while. Having said that, I think we're due for a Challenge soon. Just not sure the team would have time. Lots going on. Lol.

Maybe if covid never happen we would of gotten one this month but we should of gotten on with far from home

I'd like them to re-release Coulson as it's the only one I haven't done. I wasn't playing the game at that time. The first one I remember was Chloe, and I couldn't do it as my team was too low. The next one was Ming-Na'a Cavalry challenge. I got through that one thanks to Scarlet Witch. Did all the rest including the re-release of Chloe so it's just Coulson I haven't done. Hopefully we'll get a new one soon with a harder Epic level.
