Act 4 - any point to rush through?

Well, this is like a noob question.

I've not attempted Act 4 beyond Chapter 2 Round 2. There is now a window of a couple of days to do so as the energy level is adjusted to 2 per tile.

I am wondering whether to do 100% round by round or just take the shortest path and push to get as far a possible.

What would be the consideration to think about on which option to use?

Run through it to get the rewards then go back for completion.

That's how I did it and how I normally do monthly quests as well.
