Chronometer plan B help

4 rifts in, I've had Mutant, Tech, Tech and science gems so far... The rewards haven't been great but I expect that to happen because the odds are that way

My initial goal was to get the mutant gem for Archangel (which is now my secondary goal )

IF I never get the skill gem in my rift (which at this point I just feel like will be the case) what should I do?
My current plan is to wait till the very last rift to use the chronometer (don't know for what item)
What should I do?

I also have a sentinel which could use the tech gem

    So you initially wanted Mutant for AA, and then your first one was Mutant, so why didn’t you Chrono it ?

    Or did you change you mind right away, wanting a skill (for Fury ?) instead ?

    Still 9 more chances to hope for Skill. Maybe make a few more runs specifically for Skill, and if not by then just look for EITHER Skill or Mutant (again) until your 13th.

    Then it’s up to you what to do about that 13th run.

    I suggest you keep your rifts unopen in case you miss one.

    once you start opening rifts, you should look for skill or mutant (or consider another one, say mystic/cosmic/science/tech if you want to increase your odds of finding a useful one for the future?) at every rift opening.

    Just don't accidentally never use your chronometer..

    Actually a couple of days before my first rift, I pulled fury. Knew this would happen in the back of my mind

    Thanks for the suggestion. Let's hope I somehow get skill now

    Sorry about being unclear. I was saying to work on rifts before the last day just in case you accidentally miss out on a target/rift grind in the last day due to real life.
