I only have one 5* and hes Hawkeye but 5* are hard to get in the beginning of when ur getting them.

    AW is the best place to get 5*s quickly if you are a beginner. AW matchmaking is broken for long now. Low rated allies don’t face higher rated even if they have bigger war rating. You can join a low rated 2k or more aw rated ally and abuse the system earning easy 5*s 😉

    Easiest way? Build up your 3/4* roster. Start earning shards from them and doing content that rewards all kinds of shards.

    Quickest way? Pay.

    Partake in every activities of the game the shards will come. Getting the shards won't be your problem in due time rather what trash you will be pulling from there.

    With the seasons rewards AW have a lot of 5 star shards. EQ also gives a lot of shards. You should do them both to gain more shards

    In addition to heroic and master EQ, maybe UC EQ if you are strong enough, can also do incursions and accumulate dungeon shards to open incursion 5* basic crystal, plus get more 4* shards to open more 4* dupes to get more 5* shards.
