Doom crystal or save for July 4th

Wondering thoughts on spending 5000 units on doom crystals or save to help get 15k for July 4th deals.

Doom crystals can come again after july 4th but those guaranteed sweet offers wont. Save for them and with the 5/6 star shards from the offers you may have a chance to get a Dr.Doom.

It generally comes again and again.. And I have already wasted like 2400 units.. Haven't got anything not even 4*/3* doom .. Not even other 5*.. Just 2 4* that too were not great

Considering how the game is currently.. I'd wait until the information which was shared with the CCP is made public before making any purchases in the game..
