Agent Venom with Rage node - counters?

5.4.4 has an Agent Venom with Rage and unblockable SP1.

I am trying to find viable counters that WON'T activate the Rage (I suck at intercepting).

General wisdom for Rage, is to use champs who stagger or debuff, but Agent Venom removes those.
Quake won't work because of the Tenacity, and he is resistant to Evades.

Hood did okay, but the staggers failed a lot.

Would Human Torch with Nova Flames work?

Can you post your roster? I recall you saying you had a void? He generally doesn’t trigger rage...

funny, I just did him a few hours ago ..

I used my 6* R1 Venom to work him over ...

Every time he built up Furies, toss special 1, eat them . heal ..
not too hard a fight.

I have using Quake and Hood for the rest on that path.
Agent Venom has wiped my team twice.
Next round I thought I’d add OG Vision.

They are not, being passives.

Ran Hood again and did it!!
Sp2 AAR kept hex on, staggers stayed.

Aggressively staying invisible helped on the unblockable SP1’s.

Stagger is a passive. He won’t shrug it off.
