thing synergy team in xl varient

so i have a rank 5 thing and his synergy team but can he 100% that varient with that team? just wondering because he destroys everyone there but idk if he’s good for the whole thing.

    If u play him skilfully he can do most fights, there will be a couple roadblocks like a domino, korg, or mephisto along the way just scout ahead and bring counters to them
