Intercepted with special during heavy attack

Hello, I just encountered something in aq map 6 against Emma frost where I was using wasp and got intercepted by a special one while I was right in the middle of my heavy attack chaining from my combo. Is this intentional with the new update?

    If Emma is in diamond form she is stun immune.

    @-sixate- I gotcha. Seems like I haven't ever had that happen before. Guess I've been getting lucky. Also been getting special intercepted quite a bit when dashing into their block. Just a whole different a.i. I suppose
