Why the massive shift in the meta?

You told everyone that Uncollected players needed 5 star shards and 5 star sig stones a year ago and then now uncollected don't need Sig Stones of 5 star shards in order to pregress??? So I or anyone are supposed to what? Use r star champs in Act 6??? Oh wait that's right they cant. And now you just baited players in to going for uncollected to get 5 star shards or Sig Stones only to rip them away in this month's event??? What gives???
