    Yes, otherwise people would spend like mad and progression would go through the roof. It would also make a huge gap between free-to-play players and paying players. I also feel that the fact that 3*s are in there also prevents people from spending too much and prevent gambling addiction. Harsh truth

    The advantage you get from buying cavaliers as it is is huge at present. Imagine how much greater it would be if you eliminated 3* from the pool.

    90% of cavaliers are bought from ‘cash units’ as F2P access to units is obviously considerably less unless you sell your soul to the arena so the gap would get even larger.
