My war defenders are locked

Back to 1 hour timers today a whole new war to learn as I do placement, 5.3 is too buggy to play, what's with the new long run up on defenders specials, not to mention the lag it causes which means my swipe backs don't always register, not that they have been registering properly for about a month, and my war attackers are placed, and they are locked now I can't use them, if this is new and intended I'm over this grind, if it's not I'm over this bug filled game, how do your testers miss so much? Fix the game

    They have locked war defenders worse, this means I can never use any of my defenders for anything else as they are always in placement or attack, I used Hyperion in a quest and now I can't place him
    In defense Till it's finished, kabam please address this
