Can someone tell me if these two little segments are supposed to be included in order to achieve the full exploration?
I'm really confused by this map layout lol

You need to cover the dots, not the lines.
So after that cosmic drone, you don't want to go left there, but to go up. The same happens on the other side.

Every node does but not necessarily every path. If he's talking about the two short paths leading to the same node, they don't both necessarily have to be travelled. If you can hit every node on the map without going down one of the two you're fine

I have both of those paths explored personally. I don't remember if it was necessary or just the way I chose to go though
