Archangel bugged again in Master event 2.2

I have LC and DE maxed and just ran into Archangel in this quest and it results in my champs get neurotoxin'd as soon as the fight starts. This was supposedly fixed in a previous update so this wouldn't trigger, and might be specific to the archangel in this quest, but because of this he's wiping out my whole team when I could have easily finished him with one champ....

Is the game so badly coded that the order in which you take the masteries effects it? That's an even worse bug but I'll try it as a workaround, just don't like having to spend units on something that shouldn't be a problem to begin with.

Uhh, it's the master quest. 1 stack of neurotoxin takes my r4 4*'s down in less than the full duration of the effect.

EDIT: Just redid masteries taking DE first and that worked, but 90 units down the drain...

Wasn't there a bug where you didn't get the attack boost if you unlocked DE first?
