Insane HP on Map 3 Red Symbiote

Need a sanity check here. My alliance is running Map 3 this week (usually 5 and 4) and one of my members fought a Red Symbiote (like 5100 PI) on an unlinked node with his R4 Wolverine and it took 182 hits to down him! I know it was unlinked, I sat there and watched him do the fight on the map. I've been running AQ for over 2 years and have NEVER seen anything like this. How is this even possible?

    The symbiote was probably taking only block damage, its weird though, only boss fights take that large amount of hits to bring down

    When you strike a blocking opponent it doesn't make the hit meter go up so that wasn't it. My alli member who fought this is one of our best fighters and has run map 4 and 5 with that wolvie for over a year and never had a fight take more than 150 hits - even on a MINI BOSS like Rhino on Map 5!

    i think that symbiote must have some kind of ability, cuz you do very low damage to him unless you get a crit
