How are rebalance champs picked?

Hello there. I am really glad that low end champions are going to be reworked. Hulkbuster rework looks very promising , so was RedHulk , LukeCage etc. And it is exciting news that more champions are getting looked at.

I just wanted to get some information about how these champions are being picked . Kabam has already put out a list (attached) of champions who are in need of desperate rebalancing during the Ebony,Cull,HumanTorch rebalancing. Only magneto is being reworked from that list and the new dev diary includes Punisher 2099 and Gambit. Who may be favorites of many and I am all for it but why is the earlier list being ignored? Why not a poll like last time? Thank you.

They are also updating Falcon alongside Gambit. They also mentioned they may introduce polls in the future.

It is more like this pick the overpowered champion and a bad champion.

Like they did with namor reducing namor Regen and damage ramp up.Increasong ebony Maw degen damage.

This is how it works.Same way they will pick some best champion and do minkr change and do massive change on meh champions.

You clearly didn’t read the whole thing, they can’t do 2 complete overhauls every month. Punisher 2099 is obviously at the bottom of the “tune up” category as gambit and falcon are at the bottom of the “update” category. The champs from the earlier list are probably in the “overhaul” category and they will be done in due course.

Dormammu update is all we ask for. Overhaul would be overkill.

Yeah, I agree that all he needs is an update. But I would not say no to an overhaul lol

I’m not sure why this post was revived but I did want to say out of that list that you’re asking about, hulkbuster has been buffed and abomination’s synergy with red guardian is crazy good
