Vision AOU, no damage on special

I have seen other posts for issues with Vision's specials not burning or doing damage. Just noticed it in a versus match up. L1 burned power, but zero damage was taken. Used it about 5 or 6 times. Wish I had the ability to record. Has there been any word of a fix?
