Why are Claire's nullify and CAIW nullify different?

Claire nullifies buffs after landing hits. CAIW nullifies unstoppable when hitting. Why the difference?

The only place though that this is seen is when fighting unstoppable opponents. If you strike the opponent with Claire they still act like they're unstoppable and can counter attack but for CAIW this is not the case and you can attack normally

Claire was fixed to follow what the kit is saying. She used to do exactly what you are describing what CAIW do during his kinetic charges, but it was some error with Claire as she wasn’t supposed to act like that so she got fixed.

That's how she was designed. She'd be more powerful the other way

How? The only significant gain I see it's against unstoppable

And now she can't intercept unstoppable like beardo. Thus 1 type of fight she is less powerful in, changing it would make her better at fighting that type of fight and therefore more powerful.

You ask why but don't like the answers. Not all champs are designed the same way, this is how kabam designed her

Not sure anyone can really answer that except Kabam. CAIW is the one who seems more unique in that ability to carry out an interaction before the complete action is performed, but it's anyone's guess as to why that is.

Yes thing is similar, that he does it on contact with a special. But she hulk is different because she uses the slow mechanic. That's not what I meant. Spider Gwen, she hulk, red guardian, and anyone who uses the slow mechanic is nullifying it based off a different ability. What I meant was that when asking why they work differently, it's CAIW and Thing that are unique, so the question is really on their design. Only Kabam can answer why design these two that way.

She Hulk nullifies unstoppable with her heavy as she applies slow. Typically its difficult to apply a slow to an unstoppable champ which is why she can nullify it first
