Question about the gold glitch.

Maybe this has been discussed but please answer. I have almost 8 million gold currently. The glitched rewards are still in the email unclaimed. As long as I don't claim that glitched gold, my original 8 million stash won't be touched right? Also, i can still add to my gold and use my gold, without kabam messing with it, as long as I don't claim that glitched gold?
