Incorrect tier multiplier

Why is the tier multiplier 4.5 when we are playing tier 3 war. The multiplier should have been 6.

You might have been matched with a tier 4 alliance. Then the multiplier and nodes are selected at random between the two tiers.

We are facing nodes of tier 3 map. But the multiplier is of tier 4. Shouldn't both be randomized to the same thing ?

It’s just a visual glitch, the same thing happened to us earlier this season and we ended up getting the correct multiplier

So @Mikey, you say we'll get the points as per the correct multiplier which is 6, after war ends ?

However dumb it sounds this is unfortunately the case. I got same response from Support when it happened in the last war of last season and due to that we missed P3 by 3k points.

When that happens it is random because there is not a fair way to do it. If it does the harder tier then it is not fair to the lower alliance, if it does the easier tier it is less fair to the higher alliance.

Looks like it was indeed a visual glitch. When war ended, we received season points as per tier 3 multiplier.
