Cancelled war but still a matchup

I’ve got the note that the war will be cancelled and we still received a matchup. so if we lose are we still going to lose our war rating? I don’t want to fight this war just For it mean nothing Then Receive defeat point deduction...

    Kabam, we need to know if this war will actually count!!! Says wars won’t count, but yet the matchups have now officially launched. Don’t want my guys using resources if the war won’t count in the end.

    War should not count. Kabam is aware that some alliances entered attack phase incorrectly and are looking at it.

    It happened to us last season we had that cancelled war and we still lost our war rating

    Not sure why the toxic people on this forum downvoted me but this exactly. Last time this happened teams lost war rating and dropped in rankings while Kabam said they would “fix” it at the end of the season.

    That’s cool and all, but this matchup will certainly have a direct effect to war rating as it always does. Not like they can just cancel it outright now I don’t think.
