I saw a Marvel Instagram post saying that summoner showdown was near, and I was wondering if anyone knows a date to expect that.

Yeah, saw that. Pretty sure that competition laws in the left-out 150+ countries do nothing to stop them from including them. I work at a law firm in my country, Serbia, so I'm willing to help out about the law stuff, so someone from Kabam can get in touch if they want to.

And shipping feasibility? What shipping? They gonna send us shards via DHL?

Competition Laws are different in every country, and some make it much more difficult for us to expand it as far as we would like. This is also our first time doing something like this, so we're going to have some growing pains.

Additionally, the rewards for Qualifitication include physical items that the winners must use to film themselves for the next round. Shipping items like that can become difficult.

Because it is a showdown of skills. This is why you have to have gotten to a certain level and content that requires roster and skill. But it takes skill to be able to beat a boss that is prob gunna be pretty difficult one way or another with just a 4* and no boosts. It also allows for more cav players to attempt it since they probably have a lot of 4* on the shelf and maybe not that niche counter available as 5* or up.

Did you start the game with only 5 and 6*'s? Nope. You would have had to rank up 4*'s from progressing. When they do these events at comic con they are always with 4*'s. Did you complain this much with Variant 4? Probably.

It also means, again, you have to drop valuable resources in to champs that you will rarely if ever use ever again. Don't know how you think that's a valid trade off. It's 8 T5B to rank a 4* all the way up to R5, if you have to do that 2 or 3x that's 16 or 24 T4B you can't use for other 5/6* champs for one silly set of rewards.

You are the one who don't make any sense, most of cav player have more diverse 4* than 5/6* when they pass 6.1 and like many explain above, also this showdown have been always with 4* , have you even watch summoner showdown for once or even know what it is ?

Maybe you didn't realize.. but Africa is a continent with 54 countries.. not every country on that continent has the same laws/regulations..

This is NOT Kabam's fault here.
Kabam MUST follow the laws for each area, that is the way laws work for any type of contest that has items for the winner(s). Lots of other companies also have rules like this.

The fault is with the local laws. If you don't like it, then change the local laws.
