What about expiring boosts in inventory because of no AWs?

Some of my alliance mates have alliance war boosts (grey ones) that will expire in the next couple of days because they can't use them in AW now that AQ 7/8/9 are cancelled.
Is this something that can be addressed to Kabam support with an answer that will not be a generic " Sorry summoner, all part of the game" kind of answer?
