Blade - fury buff

I just fought blade in arena, and he occasionally proc’d a fury buff. On his team we’re torch and sparky. Is there a synergy I’ve missed? Don’t ever recall him having a fury before

When Ebony Maw uses an L1, he places a fury buff on the opponent that increases their attack by 0%. If he uses another L1, he will nullify it, which completes a mission for him and if he's running mystic dispersion, will also give him power.

Also, if Ebony has the Cull Obsidian synergy, he can place a similar indefinite fury buff on the enemy just by holding heavy long enough.
