Venom or Hyperion - both duped

Venom will help with variant 5, but Hyperion is just awesome overall.
I have both Corvus & CMM at rank 5 already.

Both are awesome, so I would go for whoever you find more fun, in my case it's hype

I love both of them but hype goes all the way for damage and utility, however venom does have his own kit of useful utility and is definitely not too far off from hyperion. Either way you can't go wrong.

Completely my personal opinion - Venom.

I both love and hate champs like Hyperion. Love him when luck is on my side, but sometimes you can just go like 5 heavies and barely have any effects activate. That just makes me die on the inside.

Venom is great, but Hyperion is still one of the top cosmic champs for a reason

I would wait for variant 5 because it might be super not fun and much harder than the other ones and venom could be the only counter. see what variant 5 is about and who works well for it, and then make a decision. but if you have some mats expiring tomorrow, then hype

I have both.....I'm a fan of Venom mine is R5 duped. He's a great counter for havok. I just can't get on the hype wagon with Hyperion. It's all a matter of preference who you like playing with. Good luck!

It does depend a bit on what current content/fights you're struggling with - Venom's ability to shut down spiderverse evades is very helpful (especially Spider-Gwen who can shut down Corvus' True Strike) and he's a Havok counter, plus he doesn't rely so much on parries to easily get heavies off (not critical, but makes it significantly easier), but he doesn't have the same top-end potential of Hyperion.

I have (and love) both, Hyperion also great defender, and counters a lot with l1 intercept or Even playing spamming l3 when you have to, but venom often comes to attack with me for war, spidey champs And havoks, fun fight stealing Furies off medusa too

Used to full potential Hyperion is a much stronger more versatile champ.

Venom is more of an act 5 champ imo vs hype who takes on anything but I do like venom and his nullify is neat. Used him a lot in v2 and act 5.
